The front desk person works totally alone, which is so risky for safety and volume. Do better. The elevator was super sketchy but worked. Breakfast was great! Beds are very comfortable and clean.

Only giving it two stars because during my first night stay there was an older women working the front desk with a man and she was extremely rude. I simply asked for an extra pillow and blanket, the lady wanted to respond with a sigh and say you really going to give me more work. She was extremely rude, didn’t even hand me the pillow she put it on the floor.

If there is a chance to put 0 or less I won’t hesitate. Bad service. I called the front desk a day before our arrival and explained my dad health situation (COPD, congestive heart failure and kidney failure …etc) so he need at least to be on CPAP machine 10 to 12 hrs per day so he can function normally. They have been aware of our arrival time and still they made us wait while my dad hooked up with the oxygen in the lobby. Room service is SUCKS they took the towels from the room and told me they are bringing the clean once back and still we are in day 2 without clean towels. I had to call the front desk and ask if we are on schedule for room cleaning since we are here for 2 days already she responded that she will check!!!! The worst service, staff, management and still I’m in my day 2 here and I have another 2 days and it’s already sucks to be here.

We arrived at 8:30-9pm and were immediately greeted with pot smell and cigarette smoke. We still checked in because it was too late to get a refund. First thing I noticed were a ton of kids running around. There’s a pool, I get it. I asked to be placed in an area where there wasn’t a lot of kids because we needed a good night sleep because we had a tournament the next day. Krystal (who was great) placed us on a different hall than what was originally booked for us. We went up to our room and were immediately hit with loud music, loud voices, kids running in the halls and food on the hallway floor. I went back downstairs and reported this and Krystal apologized and said she was on her way up to talk to them because another guest had already complained. She moved us to another floor which ended up being quiet. The only issue with that room was that there wasn’t really any hot water in the shower and no hair dryer in the bathroom. We got up in the morning and went down for the hot breakfast, which was supposed to be until 10:30am. It was 9:30 when we got down there and were told they weren’t cooking anything else (all the hot trays were empty) and that we had to eat what was out. All that was out were bread for toast and bagels. What a disappointment. We booked this hotel for the hot breakfast and yet we didn’t get it.

First of all, our reservation was for 3 guests. When we arrived , our bath linens consisted of 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel, 3 washcloths and NO bath mat. Strange! I was able to get additional linens at the front desk. The next morning, the breakfast experience was terrible! When we arrived, all the tables were dirty, the attendant never came out to clean any of them. NO CINNAMON ROLLS!! (Not even any empty trays). And when I requested ketchup, I was told there was none. Really? The worst, though, was the large group of adult women in their pajamas! Some, large women in shortie pj's. Not a pleasant dining experience! As they were (FINALLY) leaving, we noticed one of the large women was wearing a bikini with a fishnet cover up. GROSS! DO YOU NOT HAVE A DRESS CODE FOR YOUR DINING AREA? Maybe you should.

I stay in this particular hotel often as it is close to family when I come to town. This visit was far less satisfying than previous visits for three reasons.

(1) I needed a handicapped accessible room for my husband who traveled with me this visit. He had difficulty with the toilet being too low for him to use alone. It is a standard toilet. The room would be more accessible if the toilet were higher.

(2) There was little to no hot water in this room. The water would not reach a lukewarm temperature in the sink or the shower. When I turned the valve all the way to the left, the water became ice cold. When I barely turned it to the right, again ice cold. In the middle, it was still too cold to comfortably shower. The staff raised the temperature on the water heater a few degrees. But it was not helpful.

(3) The breakfast selections were not good this time. The pancake machine was not functioning. the other potions were potatoes, scrambled eggs and bacon or sausage each of the days that we were there. The selection is usually more varied.

I was disappointed this say as it was more uncomfortable for these reasons.

What is not to like about the hotel. Starts with hotels rooms, spacious clean and affordable. Staffs are amazing. Service top notch. Breakfast is awesome, cherry on top their weekend breakfast and smiling people around. Loved the ambience and loved staying 3 nights. Situated at a calm and quite place with lot of business around to buy and get things you need. It is little far from chicago downtown but still the stay was worth it.

This is an adequate place if you're looking for an affordable room in this area. I booked a room here last-minute because it was the cleanest, most affordable room still available in the area surrounding the event we were attending.

Rooms were small and dated with full-sized beds instead of queens, but the bedding was updated beyond the polyester Motel 6-esque bedspreads that are shown in some review photos. We were a group of friends just needing a place to sleep for a night after a concert, so we weren't seeking ultimate luxury. The room had a microwave and mini fridge, which is more than a lot of higher-end places can claim! We didn't get around to checking out the breakfast or the pool.

The front desk seemed "off" when we arrived, maybe they were just having a bad day. But, I found it extremely strange I wasn't asked to show an ID or provide a credit card as a security deposit. I travel frequently, and that's a first for me! They haven't tried to pull any fast ones on me for it, so I'm assuming it was just a human being having an off night, as we all do.

Overall, I would stay here again if I needed to. I would have probably preferred the higher-end hotels, but this was totally suitable as a place to crash for a few hours.
