Stopped here on our way home to Wisconsin from Tennessee, with no reservations. Got checked in quickly and found our room extremely clean which is a really big deal to my wife. Stopped in at the bar and ended up staying there for drinks and food.....which were great. Had an excellent breakfast next morning. The whole place is really clean, and the staff are wonderful and courteous folks. We will definitely stop here again next time we travel through southern Illinois !

MISSINGTN

This was our last night's stay on our return home from three weeks' travel. The location was convenient. The entry area has the bar on one side and the restaurant on the other. There were LOTS of guests gathered in both those areas and it was loud.

We waited several minutes to be noticed and get checked in. This was the least positive experience encountered at any previous IHG. The front reception agent was outside, vaping, and when we were noticed he came in and took care of the check-in. He seemed hurried and a bit agitated when asked a question. Once he had completed the check-in task, he abruptly headed back outside and continued vaping. (As an aside, the jacket/blazer he wore was somewhat garish and not what would be expected in this caliber lodging.)

Subsequent contact with other staff members was professional and as expected. Room was clean, comfortable, and well supplied with adequate amenities.

One item to note, this lodging is located in a fairly busy area. Parking was OK but with the number of people staying that night the lot was quite full. We didn't use the bar or restaurant services.

Overall the stay was satisfactory and we were able to rest well.

Hotel was very nice. Our room was clean and smelled good. A continental breakfast would of been nice. I'd go back. Our jets didn't work on our tub though. 😕

The staff was so friendly! I was able to check in with ease! The water pressure in the shower was perfect! The room was clean and spacious! Most hotel beds have super hard firm mattresses. This was a nice balance of both! My sleep was great and the temp of the room didn’t have to be bounced back and forth. Sheets were soft and not scratchy! I’m returning here for my stay in 2025 and highly recommend!!

Check-in was quick. The room was spacious. Breakfast offerings were amazing. All hotel and restaurant staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful! Excellent place to stay for a night or an extended time.

Our stay was short 2!days to be exact our room had a huge stain like blood or wine in living room area which the young lady at front desk apologized and gave us a free drink and offer to switch rooms very nice of her the hall ways were very dirty chairs at the dining area dirty and and the service poor it’s almost like employees did not want to be there , on our second breakfast our meals sat on counter for at least 10 minutes before brought to us , we had to drag a smile from them, we stay at the holiday inn because of the high start rating we didn’t mind paying for breakfast and higher rates compared to other hotels near by , I have to say in the last 20 years of traveling within USA it was not a good stay , or maybe it’s because we expected more ….
Management please take the time to look your facility sit back and see it from a customer perspective’s you'll soon ,realize it needs a lot of attention

Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Staff was very nice. I was disappointed there wasn't a Continental Breakfast, that would have made it a great stay. We decided to make sure there's a Continental Breakfast at the next one because we had to travel quite a few miles and it would have been much more convenient to not have to stop along the way to eat. Luckily we had snacks in our cooler.

Room was good sized for my family of 5. Shower had great pressure, and the pool was very warm. The pool made for a great unsuspected surprise and was the highlight of our stay! Stay was very friendly and eager to help any way they could.
