We absolutely LOVED our wedding at Hidden Grove. The staff were very helpful and professional leading up to the event and on the day of.

The things we didn’t love: we had to pay for extra hours in order to get ready at the event space the day of prior to noon. The gravel walkway from the parking lot to the event space and around the reception lawn were a challenge for our older guests. Would have loved to have had them paved. You do have to select some vendors from an approved list, which was a challenge if you’re on a budget, BUT all of the vendors we contacted and worked with were great.

Things we LOVED: the bridal/groom areas were perfect for us. The ceremony lawn was beautiful and like the perfect intimate space for our ceremony. The flow from space to space was seamless and made for an easy timeline. The bathrooms were clean, and comfortable for guests. We weren’t sure about the dance floor space prior to the event, but it ended up being great! Plenty of space for our 140 guests and still felt very connected to the dinner space for guests who wanted to stay sitting.

There are very few things that we could have changed about our wedding day! Highly recommend putting Hidden Grove on your venue list!

Hidden Grove is the PERFECT venue to host your wedding, rehearsal dinner, bridal shower, or corporate event! Located in the heart of Woodland, CA, this charming and chic property is a hidden gem that encapsulates modern garden and countryside.

We have planned weddings at The Maples and were SO excited to find out they opened a sister property. Hidden Grove is GORGEOUS and amazing for my couples who are looking for a property to host their special and intimate event. It has sooo many highlight features such as a spacious bridal suite with natural lighting for hair and makeup, a groom’s den with a pool table, built in bar, (with the cutest neon sign!), luxury portable restrooms and unlimited wedding photo spots!!

For my vendor friends, they have an air conditioned vendor room that we appreciate so much (if you know, you know!). On top of the stunning property, communication with your venue manager is key as a client and planner. Stephanie, Brianna and the entire Hidden Grove team are so down to earth, effective in their communication and are absolute joys to work with.

If you are looking for a venue to host your intimate event and were lucky enough to come across Hidden Grove, STOP! You have found the perfect match.

My husband and I got married at Hidden Grove on April 29th, 2022 and it was absolute perfection! This property is gorgeous and has a beautiful aesthetic. We always knew that we wanted to get married outdoors and Hidden Grove was the perfect location to host our wedding. The grounds are beautiful and well-manicured with so many different areas to take photos. We really appreciated that the home on the property provided areas for both the bridesmaids and groomsmen to get ready at. The team at Hidden Grove is beyond exceptional, going above and beyond to make sure you have the most perfect day! We really enjoyed working with them along with all our other vendors. We had the DREAM team of vendors, many of which we chose from the preferred vendor list. I can’t speak highly enough of this gorgeous venue!

My husband and I had our DREAM garden party wedding at the Hidden Grove! We loved the intimate and private feel, the gorgeous greenery and layout, and the house on the property for the bridal party to get ready in. There are also so many different locations for photos, from the water tower, the paved gardens, pond area, little vineyard, and the silo.

From our first visit to the end of the wedding day, the Hidden Grove team were super kind, responsive, and fun (especially Briana and Stephanie!), and we loved working with them to make our vision come true.

The venue does require you to book a coordinator, a DJ, and a caterer from their approved list, so keep that in mind. But we absolutely loved our experience and would choose the Hidden Grove for our wedding a million times over!!

I cannot say anything but amazing things about this venue and their staff!! My husband and I had originally planned our wedding elsewhere but, due to the Caldor Fire, we had to move our venue the week before the wedding. Briana and her team were so accommodating and helpful in what would have been an incredibly stressful problem. The venue itself is amazing - perfectly tucked away and inviting. Unlike our original venue, Hidden Grove has an amazing little house on the property that served as the perfect place for me and my bridesmaids to get ready in, as well as the groomsmen and both of our families to hang out until the festivities began. The grounds flow so perfectly from ceremony to cocktail to reception. Our guests were shocked to learn about all the craziness we dealt with leading up to the big day because of how seamless everything turned out. Now I cannot imagine having my wedding anywhere else. 10/10, 5 stars, amazing!!!

Our experience at Hidden Grove was everything we could have dreamed of and MORE! My husband and I best describe it to others as this: it’s a venue that feels like you’re getting married in your best friend’s backyard. It’s cozy and warm, while there is so much room to make your day feel like you and your partner! We were able to work with the Hidden Grove and Joyeux Events teams to create our wedding day and they made the space better than we could have imagined! Briana and her team continuously worked hard behind the scenes to make sure everything went smoothly, and I couldn’t be more grateful for all the do!! This venue’s team will work hard to ensure that your day is exactly what you envision, and I cannot recommend this venue more!!

We had our May 2024 wedding at Hidden Grove! The venue was beautiful and the weather was perfect! It was a great day! The venue is very well laid out and the staff was always very professional and responsive to us! We loved how intimate and tucked away the venue was. The property is very well maintained. Plenty of parking for guests!

The one thing we didn’t love was that you had to pay for extra hours if you wanted to get to the venue before noon on the day of the wedding. Felt like a bit of a money grab. One of the things we loved about the venue was the beautiful getting ready suite. In order to utilize the getting ready suite you will most likely need to pay for extra hours, as you’ll probably need to start getting ready before noon.

All around, it was a beautiful outdoor wedding and great venue space!

We recently got married at Hidden Grove on April 9th and we had the best experience. When we first found the venue it looks gorgeous and we could not wait to see it in person. Flash forward to our first walkthrough, it was breathtaking. I was in complete awe of how magical this place looked. It was like a hidden garden from a book. We were so lucky to land this venue and got luckier with the staff. Brianna and her team took all of our ideas as well as any concerns and made sure that our day was perfect. They were extremely helpful, assuring and kind. On our wedding day we walked into a beautifully set up venue, as well as a gorgeous Bridal Suite & Grooms Den with personalized thank you cards from the team. They made our day so magical and it was an honor to work with them. I wish I could do it all over just to experience it again & we have Brianna and the rest of the team at Hidden Grove to thank for that!
