Amazing weekend! I don't know why we've never heard of this festival, but we won't miss another one. It's an extremely long drive for us, but well worth it. They get great bands here! Recommend buying tickets to the pit. We had so much fun!
2016 rocked with 3 Doors Down, Dokken, Cinderella's Tom Kiefer, Great White, Firehouse, Foreigner. Not to mention local bands that also played.

Was nice, the bands are 30 which should be 20 like other carnivals but was fun. More security should be in place. Alot of young people and kids being inappropriate and cussing in front of children. Cutting in lines and just acting ridiculous. People please stop letting your children out when you haven't raised them right.

We go every year!! Love the funnel cakes!! Tons of rides, games, and places to shop!! We usually go twice while they are in town during Herrin fest!!! Usually visit during the evening to see a the lights!!!! Such a great way to make memories!!!!!! I posted a few pictures of awesome memories of Herrin fest!!!

Would have been a 5 but I'm not thrilled about the whole last ride is for tickets customers only, considering armbands cost a lot more. You'd think they'd be a bit more courteous towards their higher paying customers but, it is what it is I suppose.

This place used to be great. They used to sell pizza, spaghetti, and other Italian food being the fact that it's an Italian festival. Now it's like any other crappy fair. Mostly full of high school kids and lonely men. Get your half cooked corndogs and excuse for a Lemon Shake-up here, but the funnel cake is good. At least the Duqoin State Fair offers more rides.

Amazing fair that is worth the wait every year. They always have really cool contests and great rides. The food vendors are awesome and have a wide selection. It's always a great time at Herrin Festa!

It is a fun festival with lots of rides and vendors. It also has some historical value to nearby residents because it celebrates the coming of many Italian immigrants to this area in its early days.
