Excellent quality for the price. One of the most well-managed hotels I have seen.

Not as close to Yosemite as I would have liked; but still worthwhile. The rooms were beautifully remodeled with the nicest bathrooms I have ever seen in a hotel in this price range.
The old TV was a little bit of a misfit for the otherwise beautiful rooms though.

Internet was good but not great for hotel standards..

Breakfast is good. Hot breakfast prepared by professionals. However; the waffles being kept in the same container as the bacon is not very vegetarian friendly. Wasn't a major problem for me though. Breakfast was still very good for the price.

Very nice and helpful front desk staff. All in all a very positive experience. Extended my stay multiple times because it's such a great value for the price.

We had a wonderful stay, we were able to get a room with a bathtub for the kids. Easy enough to park, an actual smoking area with a table and chairs in the sun. The friendly staff made check out and check in easy. A decent sized mini fridge actual fits togo boxes and all sorts of things, the air conditioner worked well. And the bathroom had a window and heater and unlimited hot water that made bathing for 4 kids easy(nice water pressure). Best value for your bucks. Highly recommend 👌

Great things: Service is great - front desk folks are kind and accomodating. Location is also really good - walkable to Sonora's downtown. The decor of our room was also not bad - the bathroom looked like it had had a recent upgrade and the lighting was fantastic.

Breakfast was amazing! One day they had French toast, the next was waffles, but they also had bacon, biscuits and gravy, eggs, muffins, juices, cereal, etc. Definitely a highlight.

Not so great: If you need a quiet room, this is no the hotel for you. Paper thin walls. We were on the 3rd (top) floor, and it sounded like the person in the room below us was tapping a hammer on the ceiling for hours. (Of course, that's not what it was...but it was persistent and annoying.) We could hear the person in the next room when they coughed.

The walkways outside the room doors are all open to the outside - so there's no carpeting on them - and the housekeeping bins rolling by in the mornings are *loud*. The back parking lot is pretty active, but the front rooms are subject to the street noise.

As others have noted, the wall units - which are both the heater and A/C combined - turn on and off during the night depending on your temp setting - and it's pretty loud. I wear ear plugs and could easily hear it turn on and off.

All in all, a decent hotel with abysmal sound-proofing.

Extremely hospitable staff got us checked in at almost midnight when a private rental left us hanging out in the cold without communicating check-in guidance .Heritage Inn provided extra blankets quickly. Very clean continental breakfast area which my 10-year-old loved. They have cartons of milk just like at her school. The next day when we booked a second night, we shortly after got a family family emergency message and had to leave, and they were very accommodating. When we come back to Sonora in a few months we will definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay. Staff was friendly and helpful, free breakfast was a surprise as it wasn't just coffee and pastry. It included, eggs, bacon, waffles, variety of cold cereals, different juices and fresh fruit. I stayed 4 nights and the room was clean although the A/C took some getting used to as it was a bit noisy. One important fact: room is not cleaned unless you ask. Parking was convenient as was the location. Definitely would stay again next time I'm in the area.

We stayed here for 2 nights as we were visiting Yosemite and it is approximately an hours drive from the national park. It is very easy to find in downtown Sonora and there is ample free parking. The rooms are huge, very comfortable, quiet and well appointed. The breakfast buffet is very good but our 1 small gripe is that the breakfast room is way too small for the number of guests staying at the hotel.

My review for the hotel
Have come here for years with great service until last trip. I fell on the steps and sprained my ankle. The manager Ginger and my daughter screamed about calling an ambulance for me. The police came and they called for me. This trip when I entered the office I was asked if there were going to be any problems this time. Not how is your ankle or glad to see you back... I felt attacked. Words were spoken between Ginger and my daughter again. My daughter left. It was stated by Ginger that I could be refused a room. I have never been treated like that in the past. It has been kind and friendly. I am 72 years old and was scolded like a 5 year old. This was all done in front of her employees and other customers. The room I was given had 2 men occuping it already. They gave me a new room. My new white socks turned black from the dirty carpet. The air conditioner filter was full and hanging half out. The bathroom heater and fan were full of dust. My roommate felt he was being watched every time he left the room by a man working there. Was Ginger lying in wait and purposely gave me a dirty room? I wonder... I have been a long standing paying customer and to be treated so poorly and embarrassed in front of strangers like she did. Ginger needs some anger management and customer service classes. No wonder it is a 2 star hotel the way she runs it very unprofessional. It is to bad I really liked coming here. I will not be returning here. You should think twice before coming here, and beware if Ginger waits on you she is an anger bomb looking to explode. She states she owns the property (not I looked it up). I will be communicating with the general manager and owner of this hotel
