Heritage Inn Snowflake - Snowflake, Arizona

We arrived with our two little dogs to the Coffee Cottage, and were happy to find a place to stay that seemed upscale, accepts pets, and is a non-smoking property. At check in, our entry door keypad wouldn't take the code after several tries, but a very nice young woman who was readying a room adjacent to ours helped us get into our room. During our stay, we were hoping to relax that evening on the lovely patio with a glass of wine. To our disappointment, we encountered a heavy smoker who was utilizing the patio (a non-smoking property?). He was also hanging out around the grounds with his midnight cigarette break when we took our dogs out. The smell was dismal, and we as we made are escape back to the room, the keypad would not work consistently, so we ended up leaving the door unlocked to get back in. We decided to opt for a relaxing soak in the spa tub with our wine, but that plan also went awry as my poor husband struggled with the tub drain plug, which would not hold water to fill the tub. Also a letdown was the "shower" feature. The shower is in fact the tub's hand-held sprayer, and you must kneel or sit in the tub when using it. The parking lot was large and accommodating for our truck. The bed was very comfortable. This inn does not have a manager on the premises. Having someone on the premises would perhaps improve the quality of staying here.

I wish every place we stay could be as comfortable as The Heritage Inn. We stayed in the Blue Bungalow for two nights and were blown away by the upscale decor, room layout and amenities provided. In addition to the convenience of having a mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker, we loved the smart TV, in-room fireplace, jetted tub and super soft robes. The guest lounge was a bonus with an excellent continental breakfast as well as snacks, games and a DVD library. So many extras, a truly charming inn.

Charming Stay at the Heritage Inn – Twice in One Week!

We initially chose the Heritage Inn in Snowflake, AZ based on a Hotels.com search. It looked charming and was reasonably priced—and it more than lived up to our expectations.

This is a delightful little inn where each room is uniquely decorated with its own color or theme. There is no on-site staff, but check-in is easy with a code provided, similar to many vacation rentals.

Our rooms were tastefully decorated, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The guest lounge is modest but well-stocked with snack foods, which also serve as the continental breakfast. It’s not fancy, but everything is high quality and thoughtfully presented.

One great amenity is the Tesla destination charger. Just be sure to arrange in advance to have it turned on. During our first stay, I didn’t ask ahead and couldn’t find it, but the next morning the staff quickly responded and turned it on. On our return trip a week later, we booked again last minute. Even though the staff had gone home for the day, they still found someone to come back and activate the charger for us—outstanding customer service!

We’ve now stayed in both the Red Roost and the Blue Denim rooms. Both are adorable, but we slightly preferred Blue Denim—it’s downstairs, a bit roomier, and has a comfortable easy chair. The price difference is minimal and worth it, though we wouldn’t hesitate to stay in any of the rooms.

Conveniently located, the inn is right next door to Streets on Main, where we had a delicious meal. There’s also a highly rated Mexican restaurant on the other side that we plan to try next time.

We’ll definitely stay here again!

My husband and I went up to Snowflake from Surprise for a weekend stay, and I wish we could have stayed longer! We celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary in the Coffee Cottage room and brought our two pups. Needless to say, we all had a good time. The decor in the room was so nice, and we really wanted to just take all the furnishings to our own home, especially the Jacuzzi tub! Check in was easy with the info we needed sent to our phone, and we checked out just as easily. The guest lounge was right next door and so helpful with snacks and drinks. I can't wait to stay there again in the future 🙂

We stayed in the main House. It was a very nicely renovated piece of history. A large sitting room greeted us as we entered followed by a spacious dining room. A full-function kitchen with most everything you might need to cook a quick meal in the evening. There was one bedroom on the main floor (Master) with a bathtub. And a large TV room. Follow the narrow staircase up and you found 2 more spacious rooms each with their own bathroom and shower. It looks like a very well kept place, lots of outdoor seating and a very nice yard.

I had a wonderful stay at the Heritage Inn while on my business trip. The property was well maintained and very clean. The cafe had snaks and popcorn you could make yourself while watching movies in your room. I will definitely be staying at the Heritage Inn the next time I'm there in Snowflake.

Beautiful place! Room was exceptional and the bed one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on. The soaking tub was so nice - the design was modern and it was spacious enough to accommodate 2 comfortably. The room was quiet even though it's located off the main street; once in the room, we couldn't hear traffic or other noises at all. Courtyards & porch areas are beautiful & relaxing. Highly recommend staying here!
