The bed was comfortable! Pillows not so much. Bath towels were thick. Room was clean but had a little bit of an odor but not a problem. Second floor balcony by the river was so enjoyable. Inn is right in town, we parked and didn’t need to drive anywhere. I would definitely recommend the Helendorf! Oh, the breakfast was lacking

I had such a vibe time here. I called last minute and got a room no problem. Customer service was super awesome from the reservation, to check in and having to say goodbye. I got 90’s vibes here, very retro and nostalgic. If you are a millennial this this Inn and the town will give you your nostalgic fix you have oh so longed for. The rooms were clean, and my river view was pretty cool. Got to watch people fish for trout in the AM. The only reason I didn’t give a full five stars was due to the pool area needing cleaning, other than that a great Hallmark town if you are trying to get away from the hectic city life. I will most definitely return!

Very clean room. Good view—try to get a room with room over the little creek—well worth the extra money. Spent some relaxing time on balcony in the sunshine and listening to rushing water. Saw workers cleaning up outside daily to keep the place nice and clean. Would definitely go back to this hotel!

We had a great stay at the Helendorf. The room was very clean and well stocked with essentials. Great TV. Shower was hot and clean. We had a double bed room and they were very soft and slept well. There was karaoke next door at an outdoor stage that we could hear at times in the room but it stopped around 10:30 so not annoying all night. Everything in town was in walking distance if you are able to ambulate. I would advise to leave your car and walk if at all possible because parking is a premium in Helen and at the Helendorf. The continental breakfast is different than most places as all items are wrapped in its own package in a glass cooler and has to be microwaved or eaten cold. Has a juice and coffee dispenser as well. This is a great option if you are on a budget, as the meals in town are more expensive than most areas we travel to. Would stay here again.

My husband and I spent a few days at Helendorf and had a wonderful experience! Check in was simple and friendly, the room was clean and very spacious (room 303), and everything was in walking distance. We had a great view of the river! The hot tub was perfect after a long day of walking We were so satisfied with picking Helendorf and would stay there again!

Very nice clean room, very cozy. Easy access to everything right outside the door lots of things to eat and see without driving at all! The staff was very nice. It was busy,but not crowded, which I loved! I will definitely stay again and also bring the family with me.

This is our go to hotel. The rooms are clean and cozy right near the river and town. During our last stay an employee, Jared, went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. We cannot speak highly enough about this young man. He was caring and professional. Kudos to the boss for having such great employees. This hotel is awesome

The location of the hotel was in the center of town next to the river. Where if your room is not facing the river do not be disappointed get off your bum and take a walk its just aroundthe corner. I will say that you're probably better off to go elsewhere for breakfast as their selection is very slim, I do not mind the prepackaged ideal however the selection could have been much better. The rooms however were very clean and large on the 3rd floor was very nice location easy to walk to items uptown. If I have visited the area again I would definitely stay there. I will say if you wanted quiet that is probably not going to happen as it seems like you're right near where everybody is playing music and such.
