**Update: I also provided this feedback to the Inn via a survey.
Management promptly responded with a cordial and profesional email and refunded part of the cost of the stay at the Inn.** We checked in after hours so had to find our room by ourselves. Which is fine and understandable and the manager left us a very nice hand drawn map and instructions. It was still very hard to find the “Carriage House.” We ended up carrying our luggage up the wrong set of stairs and walking along an awkward balcony before realizing we were in the wrong part of the building.

The Carriage House (room 12) was very well appointed and had the historic feel. The bed was comfortable and overall the room was nice. The building is gorgeous and you can see the care in the detail and upkeep.

The noise in the Carriage House was terrible. Both mornings (Friday and Saturday) at 6am someone parked right below the room’s deck blaring music. This went on for some time. The dumpsters for several restaurants are lined up near the room’s deck as well. The loud dumping of wine bottles clanked for a couple of hours as the restaurants closed. The rooms deck also overlooks the patio of a large restaurant. The music and patrons weren’t too loud and they close fairly early.

The management does provide ear plugs in the room. The ear plugs were old and would not form long enough to stay in my ears. For $600 a night, there should be a noise disclaimer and should be more forthcoming that the deck overlooks a parking lot and dumpsters, not the town’s plaza.

Breakfast was inedible. Very little to choose from. I have no idea what the main meal was; I opened the server and there were several slices of bread, each with an egg on it. A few of the eggs were transparent they were so raw. What could that have been? Potatoes were cold and hard. Fruit looked like it had been sitting out for more than a day and had a rotten taste. And that describes nearly everything that was available. We told the manager at the front desk on our way back to the room. She was stunned and said she takes a picture of it every morning and it looked wonderful. She asked if we wanted the cook to fry up some eggs for us. Having seen the eggs we quickly declined. $600 a night to stay here…. Most chain hotels have far better breakfast.

Didn’t bother attending the cheese and wine pairing in the evening. After seeing the breakfast I read deeper into the hotel’s reviews. Saw pictures of the wine and cheese event and assumed it was not worth the time.

A wonderful B&B located directly in the Healdsburg square. The rooms are well laid out and the beds very comfortable. They have a really nice evening wine and cheese hour and a complimentary breakfast each morning. The morning we were there they had the most delicious blueberry scones we have ever had!|We had one small issue during our stay that was handled perfectly.|We have stayed at a number of hotels and B&B's in Healdsburg but they either are not as nice as The Healdsburg Inn or not as conveniently located to the square for dining options and just walking around.

We spent four nights at the Inn. The location is perfect. Our room overlooked the plaza. The breakfasts were superb, and the chef takes pride in his work. The afternoon wine and cheese hour was a nice touch. The reception staff were very helpful.

Boutique hotel located in a terrific area where you can walk around and find things to do. You have to park your car a little ways away since they don't have on-site parking, but the area is pretty safe and we had no issues.

We stayed in Room 1 - it's really close to the entrance. The walls are super thin but it was not a problem for us. Others might need ear plugs.

The room was super clean, modern, and very spacious. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The room comes with nice, comfy robes. The breakfast by Chef Daniel is amazing - hot breakfast all prepared by him. He needs to become a pastry chef because his cakes are next level.

The staff are super welcoming and go above and beyond to help.

This is our first stay at a bed and breakfast and Four Sister hotel, we will certainly be checking out the other ones! I absolutely loved this hotel.

We were very disappointed with the experience.

Our room (7) was right by the kitchen and it was not peaceful. The cook started making noise and playing podcasts or talk radio at top volume at 6:15 am each morning. Wine is served in the early evening in the same place and we could hear everyone. There is a restroom right next to the room that was also loud.

There is a shared balcony off the hallway where the room is and all guests have access to it. It looks straight into the room which meant we couldn’t have the blinds up. The balcony overlooked a roof and a parking lot…not very nice.

The breakfast was fine but we were awake at 6:15 because of the cook and there was no coffee or breakfast until 8 am.

The shower was old and small and the fixtures/cabinets have seen better days. If you do stay here, do not stay in room 7.

We do not recommend staying in this hotel. It’s unfortunate because it’s in a great location.

I needed a place to stay for two nights while some work was done on my home nearby. I decided to try this very small European-sytle luxury hotel. One of the most terrific things about it is the location at the center of Healdsburg. Ideal for walking around and taking advantage of all the town has to offer visitors. The rooms were very nice, exactly what you would expect at this level of luxury. A plus is the nice breakfast buffet in the morning, quite excellent. I would stay here again, it is grade A.

Cozy and historic Inn on the Plaza with modern updates and amenities. The staff was friendly and attentive and the breakfasts (which were different every day) were well prepared and served in an inviting dining area with large windows overlooking the Plaza. This inn also included afternoon home baked cookies and a wine & cheese hour. The location was perfect to walk to restaurants, tasting rooms, art galleries and boutiques. This was a fantastic "home base" while in the wine country.
