This was an amazing experience for the traveler. I would recommend you download the app and order ahead. You can even schedule when you will be there to pick it up. Exceptionally convenient and some of the best BBQ you’ll eat! My son said the pulled pork sandwich was the best he’d ever eaten. The Tri-tip sandwhich was excellent. There’s also a mini butcher counter, you can order your Harris Ranch beef to take with you.

NOT WHAT IT ISED TO BE. I used to choose my routes so that I could stop here for a brisket sandwich. Came back today after about a year and this is something completely different.

The brisket was dry and flavorless, very soft but sliced too thick and terrible. Even the beans were dry and tasteless, it’s a shame they let this place fall through the cracks.

Even the long lines there once were have disappeared, that should have been a sign. A shame, but would never stop here again and would advise anyone against it as it is expansive and we ended up tossing everything.

Surprisingly good! We had the tri tip and brisket sandwiches and were pleasantly surprised at how good they both were. The meat was tender and delicious. Well, I guess it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise, considering how close to the source they are, but still. Super flavorful, too. We will be making this a regular stop when road tripping up the 5.

It's VERY typical BBQ food. I got the brisket cheese sandwich, jalapeno cornbread and potato salad. None of it had a fresh or refined taste. Just dull. Brisket wasn't tender, but rather too chewy. Jalapeno cornbread felt mushy and not gritty. Potato salad was just potato salad.

Nothing too exciting. They get your order in and you get checked out. They were neither rude or friendly.

You get your food at a gas station. And it's NOTHING like Bucc-ees lol Now I miss getting delicious BBQ there.

I might go there again if I wanted to try out their restaurant since the barbeque experience left a lot to be desired. I did go to the restaurant, but I thought that's where the BBQ was at initially. We'll see if I drive down to LA again.

Quick place to have a rest off the I-5 highway! They offer tasty BBQ like tri-tip, brisket, pulled pork and grilled chicken, which might consist of the sandwich or with salad! One can also add an extra add-on meat with the main dish! I suppose the BBQ items are a little bit light in taste. Might season with black pepper and salt oneself. One thing to mention is that it's really hot outside in the summer time! I felt melted after taking the meal.

We got the half rack baby back ribs with a side for each of us and plus an extra order of the mac and cheese and brisket. All the food was delicious!!! 😊 There will be a long line but it's worth the wait. FYI it's inside a shell gas station. I didn't know that until we got there and was looking for the place. I thought it was an actual restaurant. Maybe next time I'll try the package meal.

I would recommend ordering by phone. I waited in line and ordered by phone to see which one was quicker. Waiting in-line was 35min long. Order by phone 25 min wait. Order first before freshing up. This way, while you are "freshing up," your order will be ready. Jalapeño cornbread was not spicy it was used for flavor. Keep in mind I can't eat a hot cheeto, I think it is too spicy. Pulled pork was juicy. The sandwich was big! Mac n cheese is also delicious. Beans were okay! Mashed potatoes, my husband likes it without gravy. I enjoyed it with the gravy! Hint: We got our gravy on the side. If you want more gravy, ask for it on the side, not in the mash. Otherwise, you will get a little bit. Expect a crowd if you wait in-line.
