Great place to stay if you're someone like myself who keeps busy during the day (or if you're a couple) and just needs a place to lay their head(s) at night. TV, comfy bed, quiet neighborhood. 5-10 minutes away from grocery stores, restaurants, and hot air balloon rides.

We had a good one-week stay during a busy time in Phoenix. While the house was full, Christine was a gracious host. We were very pleased with the comfort of the main-floor suite, breakfast flexibility, and space to relax. Thanks for all!

We stayed there in Spring 2018 and we loved it very much. This was the cleanest B&B I have ever seen. The owner was soooo lovely and friendly. The Place was very calm and our room fantastic. I really recommend this place. It is a gem in the desert with awesome ownership.Tanja from Germany

This place was ok. It's just somebody's house though. I stayed here because it was conveniently close to a job interview. However, I don't think this location is otherwise convenient for someone travelling to this area. It says it includes breakfast, and they did have cereal, cheap frosted donuts, and muffins available, but it wasn't anything to rave about.

I didn't know anything about the place prior to staying here as they dont even have a website. The house is really nice but the room was a little stuffy, not much ac. It's a basic room but affordable. The shower was good. For the price, it's better than a motel 6.

Well, what to say ? The place is probably a nice place and we were looking forward to be there. We were in Dunedin to a rugby game finishing late. I asked if we could check in on our way to Dunedin in the morning (where we had to be for lunch), just to introduce ourselves and see with them where we could find the keys when we'll return after the game. But we've been told it was not possible. The owners where away, which I could understand. Everything was paid in advance, I thought they would be like kiwis are...helpful ! But no, they never excepted to organise to leave the keys somewhere for us to stay that night... Not used to this in New-Zealand. They took the money and that was it.

This is a residential type home and address. I didn't really feel like staying at that type of place. The add was on clear that a entry door and house would be shared. I asked for a refund and was denied. The house was dark outside I couldn't read the house number . I walked around and then left. It is way off the beaten path. I didn't get a refund even though I had the insurance with Expedia.

Booked thru hotels.com. Said confirmed. Drove 45 mins in traffic to get there. Called because I was looking for a hotel and was in a residential area thought I was lost. Asked for address she tells me to “check my confirmation page for it” I explained I was driving and she refused to provide address until I gave her my booking details. Then she hangs up on me, only to call back and say “we are double booked, and there’s not a room available anymore” no apologies, nothing. She hangs up on me again. I had, again, driven 45 minutes in rush hour traffic to get here and she didn’t tell me until I ARRIVED that someone had just so happened to book the same room right before me. Well if that was indeed the case then why didn’t I receive a phone call much sooner than my arrival time Worst decision ever. Will NEVER EVER EVER GO THRU HOTELS.com because I can’t get a live agent to save my life to resolve this, and will most definitely NEVER stay at this rudely-run, snobby establishment (if that’s what you want to call it—it’s a HOUSE that is it—nothing fancy just somebody’s HOUSE, not a HOTEL so it shouldn’t even be on HOTELS dot com because it’s someone’s home!!!). False advertising and very rude, mean hosts. The woman kept talking over me, interrupted everything I tried to say to her. Her name was Christine and she’s what rhymes with witch. Absolutely the worst display of “customer service” I have EVER encountered. Steer clear of this place they won’t make things right even if and especially if it’s their fault. Most rude person I’ve ever had the misfortune of speaking to over the phone. I will tell everyone I know on every social media platform and review site possible just how horrible and disgusting these people were to me. Ugh. DO NOT BOOK AT HAPPY VALLEY HOUSE—nightmare!!!
