Our stay was very pleasant and Sandy is a gracious hostess. For breakfast she brings, the night before, an assortment of yogurt, pastries, fruit and it is varied. The rooms are decorated with Sandy's artistic creations and at every turn you are delighted to find another surprise. ||The small refrigerator and microwave are handy. There is no tv or Wi-Fi, if those are your requirements. It is within easy walking distance to town.

We don’t usually stay in B&Bs. But, the hotel choices in Sitka were not that plentiful, at least at the price we were willing to pay. When we booked with the owner, Sandy, we mentioned our early arrival, and she arranged for us to get into our room early. It was a nice room with comfortable beds. There was no A/C which would have been OK if we had had a fan. We did have some warm weather during our stay in Sitka.||||Sandy is a very nice person and a lot of fun to talk to. Her B&B is cozy. Unfortunately, some of the other homes across the street are dumps. Since we live in the country in Texas, we completely understand the situation one can have with no zoning. The icky houses did not affect our stay, and we felt safe. ||||We did not have a car and walked to every place. We did not use the shuttle buses, but they looked fine. We really liked Sitka.||||Sandy would deliver the breakfast in the afternoon for the next day so that you would have it when you were ready the following morning. It was some sort of pastry with fruit and juice.||||We had a nice stay, and her artwork that is displayed is amazing.

We were a group of 4 who stayed in both rooms at Hannahs B+B. Sandy (owner) could not have been nicer. Both rooms were very clean, nice decor, roomy and quiet. Each night Sandy would bring continental breakfast items to our room for the next morning. So our stay was very private. The walk to downtown area was about 10mins so very convenient. The B+B is in what seems to be a bit of a dicey area but not... thats just Alaska (no zoning?). Not an issue. I recommend this B+B if you visit Sitka

Hannah's is a ten minute walk from the main part of town and breakfast, left in your room the night before, is simple, but enough to get you going.||However, be prepared to be thrown back to the early 1990s once you step in the door, from the decor to the lack of Internet to payment by check or cash. The mattress and bedding have some years on them as well and could use some refreshing. The Forget-me-not room is spacious and coffee/tea is available in the room. Bring your own toiletries, specifically anything used in the shower. ||Sandy, the owner, is very friendly and a talented artist, having made the furniture in the room.

Our room easily could have slept 5 people, and also had a dining area, full sized coffee pot, microwave and mini fridge. Full bathroom. Décor is country cottage, with the owners artwork tastefully incorporated. Bed a little too mushy for my taste. "Breakfast" is minimal continental (juice, roll, fruit) but at least the fare varied day to day. Not too far to walk to town/attractions.||On the other hand..it has no Wi-Fi, no computer (need to go to the library for either) no TV and no phone, no shuttle to airport or ferry. The inside was clean, but the outside could have been improved by a quick sweeping and de-cobwebbing.

We were late arriving here (a day late!) but our host Sandy was gracious and understanding and wonderfully helpful.||The rooms are very large and cosy and quiet. A continental breakfast was provided and Sandy also did her best to cater for tricky food allergies. Most happy to recommend this B&B to fellow travellers.

Easy walking' distance to main part of town. Rooms are large and beautifully decorated with owner's art work. Great value. Continental breakfast included fruit, yogurt, pastries and coffee. Refrigerator and microwave were available if you wanted to do something on your own.

My parents stayed at Hannas during their visit to Sitka. It was their favorite place out of all of SE AK that they stayed. There room was very private and LARGE! It even had a breakfast nook where we were able to play games and eat pizza at night. For the value and location Hannas is a great choice.
