What a nice and impressive place. The elderly lady was very friendly to us, the exhibition shows a lot of things from the life of one of the greatest people in the early days of popular music. Don't miss the chance!

My wife and I visited the museum today. A wealth of memorabilia and history in the house. The most awesome thing there though was the hostess Leona. We had the pleasure of listening to the story's she told of "Hank" for 15-20 minutes. What a delightful lady to spend time with. 30 years of knowledge, what a Godsend.

As a c&w fan, I thank you for preserving this place

Needs a little TLC (faded signage, maybe power wash the awning?) but this is probably volunteer and funds-related (need more of both) so, understandable.

I read that absolutely no photos allowed inside and that's disappointing. Just wanted a picture of us inside Hank's house. Oh well.

Good selection of items in gift shop. But some CDs or 45s for sale would be appreciated!!

Small collection... did not take long to go through. Enjoyed it though

It was really cool visiting Hank Williams Sr. boyhood home from when he was between the ages of 7 to 11.

Regrettably, Georgiana has fallen on hard times with most store fronts closed. RVTRIPWIZARD got us to within four blocks of the museum then turned us the wrong direction onto a less than friendly RV road. Fortunately, there was zero traffic and a quick search with Google Maps got us on track. Pulling a small RV, we parked along the train tracks but the care taker said we could park along the street in front of the museum. We would recommend parking in front of the post office building a short walk to the museum.
The museum has tons of Hank Williams information, pictures and the care taker was very knowledgeable. It does cost $5 per adult, there are some gifts/souvenirs, and a small fridge with cold drinks available for purchase. Plus a bathroom. She told us June is the busiest month as the town host the Hank Williams Festival. We could see a number of campsites for small RVs (water/elec only) on the museum grounds as well as on neighboring property. The old Dr. Pepper Bottling Plant building is just an old dilapidated building with nothing to suggest it’s former life.

Amazing greeter who was in some of the photos displayed there. She knew a lot about Hank. I had no idea how much he accomplished in his short life. If you are a Hank Williams fan, check out this off-the-beaten-path bit of history.

Tons of posters, pics show bills, etc. with Hank's music playing as I toured the home.
The hostess had tons of information, insightful stories and suggestions on restaurants.
(Pardon my fingertip in the photo.)
GO GO GO.

Super friendly folks , better than the HankW Museum in Montgomery. It's down home intimate vibe and the "please take all the photos you want" rule would make Hake Sr smile. Thanks for the history and keeping the memories alive
