1. The person who checked us in was not warm and friendly. In the past we have stayed at this hotel many times and had great service. This was not the case this time. The staff who checked us in gave us average service and didn't listen very well. When we visit a hotel, it's nice to be greeted with a smile and makes it easier to travel. 2. The hot water was not available when we wanted to take a shower. The water tank on the floor that serviced our room had to be turned up in order for us to take a shower. Hot water tank temperatures should be checked routinely as a matter of business operations at a hotel. When we called to ask for help for the hot water, no one came for more than 15 minutes. So we had to call again, and explain that we needed to shower and go to bed ASAP. This was not efficient service. 3. Room supplies:  There was 3 decaff and only 1 regular coffee packets in our room. We woke up at 1:30 a.m. to get ready and noticed this problem. There was no way to get this problem fixed before we left at that hour. The cleaning staff should be more careful to put the correct things in the room. 4. The water in the room burned out eyes and skin. We've stayed at this hotel many times and never had this problem. Perhaps there is something wrong with the water now. 5. The fan on the air conditioner / heater doesn't change from low to high. It's always high and too noisy. When we asked about it, we were told that all of the units on the 3rd floor were like this. It was too difficult to sleep with the horrible noise of the high fan. 6. A unhappy start to our trip.

The hotel was very nice, from the lobby to the floors.
My room was nice, clean and up to date. I only have a couple of complaints and they are: they need better pillows, The garbage cans I only saw one on the bathroom, and they should check the bed skirts there were food or something stuck to it which I had disinfectant wipes with me to clean.
There must've have been an event because you can hear kids running above us.
Friendly housekeeping staff on the floor.
Breakfast was decent.

I stay here frequently for business, and it is always very clean. Even with the close proximity to the airport it is very quiet. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The breakfast is standard for Hampton Inn, but it is always extremely clean and fresh. There are multiple locations in a very close walking distance.

Dear Hotel Manager,

I wanted to provide feedback on my recent stay, as I encountered several issues that affected my experience.

First, the pool was cold, and when I attempted to call about it, the phone in the room wasn’t working. I had to go to the gym to place the call, only to be told by the front desk that maintenance was out and unable to address the issue. Additionally, there were no towels available by the pool, and the area was empty.

The noise in my room was another major issue. There were young children outside playing hockey without supervision, which caused significant disturbance. I called the front desk, and security was sent up, but the noise persisted throughout the night. Later, the noise from the AC/heating unit in the room became unbearable, so I turned it off. I called the front desk to request a room change, but I was told that the housekeeping staff was short-handed and no room changes could be accommodated. I was also informed that all rooms are similarly noisy. This was incredibly frustrating, as I had a five-day stay and struggled to get any sleep due to the constant disturbances.

Furthermore, the laundry machine was broken, and there was no signage to inform guests. This left me waiting for another machine to become available. However, I do appreciate that the maintenance staff was able to offer me a refund and new detergent so I could do my laundry.

Overall, my stay was far from pleasant, and I feel that these issues should be addressed to ensure future guests have a better experience. If I were a secret shopper, I would have to report this stay as a failure in the inspection.

I love this place!! EXCELLENT customer service from the front desk to housekeeping! EXCEPTIONALLY clean! My overall stay was WONDERFUL!! This was my second time staying here and whenever I’m back in Chicago I’ll stay there!

This hotel is really nice. Its very spacious, conveniently near the airport, and very welcoming. I hate that I didn’t get to swim but my stay was short and I ended up going into the city. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. The beds were comfy, there were tons of food options and convenient stores near by and outside was a fire place and cozy seating area. That was icing on the cake. I would definitely come back and stay here and I recommend others to choose this hotel as well.

We book this hotel frequently for our employees traveling to Rosemont, and it never disappoints. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the breakfast is fantastic. Its convenient location near restaurants, the convention center, and O'Hare Airport makes it an ideal choice for business travelers. Highly recommended!
