UPDATE: 2-21-25 They finally refunded my money for the night I stayed. If this had been taken care of before I checked out, then I would have felt like they cared about the comfort of the customer. It's taken care of, but I still won't stay at this particular location again. I guess it's good for people traveling with layovers. Because it's close to the airport for them.

Well, I got checked into my room and then noticed plaster all over the entrance, on the carpet, and in the restroom. Tried calling the front desk, and the phone in the room didn't work. Had to use my cell phone and call the main hotel number and let them know in was checked into a room that apparently had been being worked on. Since they had no one to clean up the mess, they moved me to another room. I was already unpacked and had to repack to be moved. It's not a very good first impression. I usually rate at a 5 star but wasn't able to do that under the conditions. I took no pictures but should have.
In the new room, the phone didn't work either. I needed ice, and the ice machine was at the far end of the hallway. The water in the sink never got hot and barely even warm when washing your hands. The smell of whatever they are using to remodel (which I wasn't informed of before booking) caused my nose and mouth to dry out real badly and feel pastie. I have stayed at Hampton Inn's on and off my whole life and have never said, "I can't wait to get home to my own bed. " The beds were very uncomfortable. Extremely hard, along with the two chairs in the room that you sit in by the little round table. It really seemed that the room hadn't been dusted of all the loose plaster from the work that had been done. The room was facing the airport, which was a decent view. However, the windows I don't believe had been cleaned. I think it was leftover dust from the work being done. And I have never seen a door that goes into your room with at least an inch gap underneath with the light from outside the room shining in. Like I said, I think everything was still under construction, which is why possibly a lot of this stuff was an issue. Sadly because this is only my fourth review ever that didn't get a 5 star rating from me. This was to be a relaxing night away from my everyday lifestyle, but instead, it just stressed me out due to all that went on.
At this time, I can't recommend this to anyone. Maybe they should give guests a heads up about the renovation before they book a room here. I'm certain that would change their minds in the choosing of staying. They could then anticipate there possibly being these types of things to deal with. Truly wish this would have been a more pleasant experience. Along with being able to hear everything above, across, and beside you from other rooms. It's a shame. I should have known when I booked it that it could possibly be an issue. I usually read the reviews, but this was a last-minute decision. (Based on the price on a weekend being so affordable.) Now I know why!

The staff members were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was great and I also appreciated the fruits they had available all day long. I had many problems with the housekeeping service including my request for service being ignored and the housekeeping manager pretended she never got the message. The housekeeping staff are interested in cleaning rooms for a new guest to check in and not to keep an existing guest comfortable.

I was sad that they took out that beautiful desk. They are remodeling it all and I've got to say it looks great. The only thing I found wrong, was they no longer have that beautiful desk. Sherry, front desk, was very helpful and cheerful! She's awesome!

Nice beds, comfy pillows, great location, (under construction temporarily). Enjoyed breakfast. Janie was our hostess. She was so helpful and kind. This was our first time at this hotel and if we should be in the area again, we would stay here.

This hotel is currently under renovation. The lobby is messy and dusty which means no breakfast area. Breakfast is available but
it must be taken to room for eating. On the plus side, hallways are bright and workers were on site late Saturday night. If I had known about the renovation, I would have selected a different Hilton property.

Conveniently located next to the airport, but we slept horribly. The door had a large gap at the bottom that let a ton of hallway light into the room at night. The bathroom door wouldn't close - the latch couldnt engage the door frame, so it just hung there.
Went downstairs at 8pm to get some hot water next to the coffee, and water was room temp and tasted nasty like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time.
Perhaps because of the gap at the bottom of the room doors, lots of hallway noise during the night that kept waking us up.

Walking distance to the airport. Rooms are newly remodeled and very nicely appointed..Downstairs is still being remodeled and in a little disarray. Management and employees are nice.

The following is the email I sent to the Hotel General Manager on 12.21.24. I never got a response. I even wrote him again on 12.24.24. Again, he never replied. In summary, the front line employees were great, but management need improvement.

Hello Todd,
My name is Paul Shultz and I stayed at your hotel location last weekend. My room was not cleaned or straightened on Saturday, so Alex said he would give me 3,000 Hilton Honors Points. Below is a screenshot of my Hilton Honors account as of December 21. It shows only 1,000 points for that stay. Are the 1,000 points for the stay and not for the extra 3,000? Are the 1,000 points instead of 3,000?

I was very pleased with Alex and Whitney. They are an asset to your organization. However, the woman who was at the front desk with Whitney on Saturday morning is not an asset. As an identifier, she was wearing a mask. I told Whitney and this woman that the business office printer ink was low, as my airplane ticket did not print properly. This woman did not look at me and she said only, "OK!". I was hurrying to get to a funeral, so I did not take the time to tell her that I did not appreciate the lack of a correct response. A correct response would have been, "Thanks for letting us know. We will change the printer cartridge."

I appreciate your time and look forward to your response regarding the points. Thank you.
