Kasey was caring, thoughtful, and empathetic the entire time of our entire trivago disaster, and she was assisting us for hours to resolve trivago's mistake.
Needless to say, do not go through trivage to save 20 or 30 bucks but instead book straight through their website.
This is well worth your money, time, and their customer service is their number one priority, and you can definitely see and feel that. Thank you again, and if we come back to this area we will make sure to stay here again!!

Clean, reasonably priced, within walking distance to the Effingham Performance Center, good hot breakfast, quiet (no road noise), and a friendly staff—this is the place to stay at the crossroads of Illinois. And stop by the magnificent cross (the second highest in North America, just on the outskirts of town) for a never-to-be-forgotten site.

Clean rooms, friendly staff and excellent breakfast! We are traveling for the holidays and stayed overnight on our way through. We’ll for sure be staying here again! We were all very impressed by the gift wrapping station, for anyone who forgot to wrap something - how thoughtful!

Nice hotel, lobby is quite nice. The room was clean and fairly quiet. I could hear steps above and people next door. I had a connecting room, which I don't like. I did not hear any road noise. ||Towels were plentiful and must have been new as they were extremely fluffy. ||Staff was friendly, but I was not asked to provide id and my room number was mentioned out loud when the woman was looking for keys. Fortunately, there was no one else in the lobby. ||Breakfast - well, it was plentiful. The eggs and sausage were not very good. I ended up throwing those items away. The apples were fresh and good and the area was wel tended and clean. ||Would stay here again if in the area.

Overall a wonderful experience at Hampton Inn in Effingham. We travel as a family for work, and the hotel staff was very welcoming and helpful.

Our king-bedroom suite was ready early and very clean! The bed was nice and comfortable and even the sofa bed was squishy and kid-approved.

We loved the beautiful pool area- well stocked with towels and again very clean. The hot tub was a perfect temperature and the pool is also heated to a nice comfortable temperature. The outside patio was a nice treat, we enjoyed the sun.

Breakfast in the mornings was just lovely. Hot and fresh food, constantly maintained by very friendly staff who clearly work hard to keep it so.

Front desk staff was exceptional in their service, and beyond accommodating; every bit as gracious in their help as they were friendly.

Housekeeping staff was also a joy to interact with- they joked with the kids and always had a smile.

Very clean and we'll maintained property. The staff was very kind and efficient as well. Since Covid, I have noticed a decline in Hilton properties but this was not the case here.
My recommendation to Hampton Inn is to please upgrade the sheets. They are awful.

The Effingham, IL Hampton Inn was a wonderful place to stay. From check-in to check-out, the stay was great. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was one of the best I have seen at a Hampton in years. But the most impressive asset this hotel has is the amazing staff. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. They seemed to take a lot of pride in their jobs. I highly recommend this hotel!

My family has stayed at this hotel several times over the years, and I have always been impressed with the facility. It's been several years since we have visited, though, so I was pleasantly surprised to find the building is still in great shape -- everything is clean, well maintained, and beautiful. I reserved the room online and checked in using the app, but still stopped by the front desk to grab a luggage cart and confirm my room number. The attendant at the front desk came up with us to personally ensure my pillows were all hypoallergenic, which I greatly appreciated as I am highly allergic to down.

The room was extremely comfortable, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located and easy to get to. And I love the app interactivity -- I was able to check in and out, message the hotel staff, and even open my hotel room door using the app. We will be back.
