At first it was a good experience upon arrival. Friendly staff and appeared clean. Loved my room. Had to drop my things off and head to a conference. Things took a turn for the worst when I got back in that night. BEDBUGS! I grabbed my belongings and went straight to front desk. The lady didn't act surprised. Didn't ask to see a photo nor check for herself. Told me all rooms were booked. Then after speaking to someone told me a room could be cleaned but it stays warm in there. Absolutely not. I ended up having to sleep in a room with a coworker for the night and had to be inconveniently placed at a different hotel. No bedbugs at the embassy just not as great of a room due to availability. So very disappointed as I have always loved Hampton. Future reference this was room 313 on 2/17/25

The staff were sitting on the couch on there phones they acted like we interrupted them. My key did not work on the door, the eggs were cold (they forgot to add water...) the kitchen staff lady was sitting in the dining area with a man just talking away while things are not right with the breakfast, and to top it off there was a tooth pick on our floor in our room
Pretty sure this will not be my choice next time I am on my way to see my family

Great location to the Galleria, but needs some serious renovations especially in the rooms. We stayed in suite room number 526 and it was filthy. DO NOT use the pull out sofa bed!! There are springs sticking out of the mattress. Breakfast was decent however.

Nice for a Hampton Inn. Rooms clean and fresh. Fitness room has good selection.
Breakfast is average for a hotel....which means it's not that good.

I took my volleyball team to a tournament in Hoover and we stayed at the Hampton. Everything was fine at first, but after my son was crawling on the floor for less than 5 minutes in our room, his hands, knees, and toes were black. I took pictures and showed the ladies downstairs. They offered to have the carpet cleaned because they didn't have a new room for us. We agreed. The carpet was much cleaner the second time around but wet. I had discussed with the manager a possible discount and she said she would get back with me... she never did. I even emailed her and she never responded. Because of the lack of response/care I am leaving this review. I am disappointed in the lack of value in a customers conversation and email. I not only booked 5 rooms there but I brought parents that also booked rooms there. That is a lot of business to be treated poorly by simply not communicating.

We enjoyed our visit, no complaints what so ever our room was nice and clean.The bed was very comfortable and the staff was awesome definitely would stay here again.

The room was very clean as was the hallway and elevator. The bed was awful. It was so uncomfortable and hurt my back. I slept half the second night on the sofa. I was excited to use the pool and hot tub but the hot tub has been filled in and the pool was in need of a good cleaning. The water was cloudy and the smell of chlorine was so strong it burned my eyes. The morning of my checkout housekeeping was knocking on my door at 9:30 and my check out time wasn't until 11. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
