Disappointing Experience – Poor Customer Service
I would not recommend staying here.

Upon arrival, we discovered that both the pool and hot tub were out of service. While this was disappointing, we decided to make the best of it. However, things only got worse. The vending machines were also out of order, leaving us without access to even a simple soda.

The next morning, we were shocked to find that there was no hot breakfast available—despite the hotel’s website advertising it. Instead, we were offered sugary cereal, cereal bars, and water. Although they claimed hard-boiled eggs were available, we never saw any. To make matters worse, not even hot coffee was provided.

Feeling let down, my friend called the manager, Nikki, to see if a small adjustment could be made to our bill. We specifically chose Hampton Inn over more affordable options because of our previous positive experiences with the brand. Unfortunately, Nikki was not only unhelpful and terse, but she also hung up on us when we mentioned leaving a negative review.

Hampton Corporate, if you’re reading this, you’ve just lost four previously loyal customers. I hope denying a modest $20-$30 adjustment was worth it.

Lastly, a word of advice—Nikki should reconsider her approach to customer service. Hanging up on guests is unacceptable.

The room was comfortable, but the breakfast was disappointing. There wasn't even coffee available, and the continental breakfast options were limited. I chose to stay here specifically because the advertised breakfast included hot items, and I was not informed that this would not be available. When I spoke with management about the situation, they were unwilling to adjust the price and seemed uninterested in my feedback or suggestions for improvement. The conversation ended abruptly when they hung up on me.

We had a pleasant stay at the Hampton Inn Sheridan, but there were a few areas that could use improvement. The room we stayed in was smaller than expected and could benefit from an upgrade. The biggest issue we encountered was with the shower, which fluctuated between burning hot and cold, making it difficult to enjoy.||||On a positive note, we did see that the hotel has started renovations, so it seems they are aware of the need for updates. Despite these drawbacks, the staff was friendly, and the location was convenient. Looking forward to seeing the improvements next time!

Really disappointing stay. Arrived to find out that the hotel was undergoing renovations so the whole top floor was unavailable. We weren’t too bothered by the noise above us (we were on 2nd floor) but it was a hassle nonetheless. Overall the hotel is fairly dated. Room was standard size but unimpressive. Mattresses were old and uncomfortable. Walls are thin, we could clearly hear the TV of the room next to us. For a hotel that charges this much, I expect SO much better. Definitely would book elsewhere the next time we come through town.

Terrible hotel for high prices! The bed light in our room is being held together by electric tape, the shower curtain is filthy, there's dirt/mold in the shower, the AC door is broken, the living room light is hanging. We're on vacation and wanted to enjoy the amenities, when we made the reservation nothing was said about the hotel being under renovations and with a non-refundable same day cancelation we were stuck in a crappy room with no access to the pool/hot tub/gym/laundry! Terrible all the way around!!

Broken glass on tile floor in pool area ! Clearly cheap owner ! Nasty rude people . Supporting illegal work force !||||971885421||||Breakfast was good. The room was ok. Beds are wore out . First off front desk said it’s box elder bug season. Every room in hotel is full of alive and dead bugs . Pool was disgusting . As I went from hot tub to towel rack I stepped on a piece of glass. Glad it wasn’t my little boy or wife . I’ve stayed in Sheridan for 6 years for work and this is the only hotel that has a bug problem this time of year. They are also doing renovations and using illegals to complete the work . There is not a business sign for company nor a business trailer . Ice should stop by the Hampton . Cheap owner makin plenty of money and hiring illegal||Help . Overall this is at best a motel 6 . Pretty disappointing !

If you are looking to pay top dollar for a dump this is the spot. Stains on all the furniture, no bed skirt, lights in the room don’t all work. While the young guy at the front desk was very kind, having him say “we’re under renovations” as some kind of excuse for this given I was charged $250 for a night is absolutely wild. $250 a night come with some expectations. This place comes no where near any of them to justify this cost. Honestly you as a company should be ashamed of yourselves.

Staff are wonderful and friendly. Food selection was wonderful, hot, and kept restocked well.

Rooms, and facilities were a little run-down and in disrepair compared to our usual experience at other Hampton Inns. They were clean and tidy, though, so overall it's been a good visit. Hampton has just set the bar a little higher than most others.
