Great location. Several places to eat & shop within the area.
The hotel is nice & clean. The hotel staff was friendly & welcoming.
The rooms are very spacious. The beds are extremely comfortable with plenty of pillows.
Fridge & Microwave in the room. One plus was there were plenty of outlets in the room.
The hot breakfast was lacking. There weren't many options to choose from. Definitely could have been better. I loved the coffee,hot chocolate & tea bar.
Although the breakfast wasn't the best I'd stay again

I had to give one star because the room I paid for didn't have Hot water,
Staff told me it was fine and said the whole building had lukewarm water I don't think so .... Hilton/ Hampton corporate is supposed to send me a voucher we'll see ... I'm going to give them 30 days to send the voucher.

I have the voucher it took almost 90 days to get it I have no idea if any of their properties will accept it
Hayward CA Hapton management did nothing to remedy the issue I had to get Hilton corporate to do everything., Not cool.....

Most locations will not accept my voucher... customer service at the actual hotels and corporate reservation desk is horrendous.
I am being nice, on the phone, just trying to get this voucher handled for another stay so I could be made whole on a $170.00 room with no hot water....I get nothing but push back and rude treatment. Complete BS is what I get ..thanks a lot.

We needed a place close to my eye surgery center. This was very close, there are places to eat near by. The room was large, they were ready when I needed to check in and had an area with advil, drinks and a water refill area!
They asked how I was doing at check at, they were so nice. I ended up reserving a room from them for my next appointment.

Positive: I've stayed at this hotel many times and will continue to come back! The staff are exceptionally nice, there is plenty of parking, and it is central to downtown Hayward while still feeling safe. Hotel employee at the front desk is amazing! Negative: ""

A good hotel, it is desperate for an update I’m afraid. Good room, clean bedding and towels. Small bathroom, tub structure is done. Water pools in the middle and will not drain. Toilet flushing can make you nervous, will it drain? Fingers crossed. Get a room towards the back if you can, road noise is bad towards the front of the building

I am a Diamond Member. I was offered nothing when I checked in. I had the don't disturb hanging on my door, people came in anyway and left towels on the desk. Don't know why. Climate controls were not working correctly until I rebooted the thermostat. When I first checked in my room was 63F degrees inside. No bread or toaster in the breakfast area. I travel quite a bit and stay pretty much exclusively at Hampton Inn's.This stay was just not up to snuff with the other locations I stay at. I will be back next week because of the location. Hopefully I'll have a better experience.

This is a lovely, very clean hotel and one of the few hotels I found in walking distance to a BART station (the walk takes a good 15 min -- not recommended with heavy luggage). I stayed here three nights for a nearby wedding. My room was spacious, very clean, everything was comfortable. The breakfast was very good and staff was kind. The only issue I had was that my room #227 was directly above the breakfast room and each morning between 4:30-5:00am the squeaky doors were opened and closed for at least an hour and this didn't allow me to sleep. If you are a light sleeper like me, stay away from this room. Everything else was really fine. But disrupted sleep for three nights just sucked. I would stay here again - but in another room.
