This was not the worst hotel I’ve stayed in, but certainly the worst Hampton I’ve stayed in. This hotel is literally falling apart. That Hilton doesn’t shut this down is surprising.||I went to use the toilet on our first night and had water dripping on my head from, presumably, the room above us. I left the lid open to capture most of it before morning and could notify the front desk. Once we did, they were reluctant to give us another room, but finally did. The new room was slightly cleaner than the first, but still yucky. They were waiting for liquid soap to be delivered, so neither room had soap in the dispensers. We were given bar soap though. Lightbulbs were burnt out, wallpaper was peeling, pillows were so old, it felt like they were filled with sand. Hot water temperature was far above a safe level (not really a problem if you don’t travel with children). The food was about what you’d expect from a place like this, but the breakfast area drastically needs updating.||All-in-all though, the staff were accommodating and friendly enough. We were also refunded for one day of our three-day stay.

I've stayed here twice in the last two months and had a good experience both times. Sure, the rooms could use some updating; fresh coat of paint, new lamps, etc. But for a budget hotel it had everything I need. The beds were comfortable. There was a TV, microwave, and a mini fridge. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, the heater/thermostat worked great, the shower was hot, and the rooms are fairly quiet-I couldn't hear anyone in the room next to us. I did take a point off because the pool was cold and the internet was spotty on my last stay. But overall I think if you're looking for an affordable hotel this is a good option

Hotel was dirty when we entered. Lots of tracked salt and snow crud. checking in took a very long time. One person working but very tedious. Got to my room, only one bath towel. Wasn’t sure at first if it was clean. Folded oddly. Room looked worn out. Needs an update or deep clean. Breakfast area was dirty and the coffee at 7:00 AM was just warm. It was very strong like it had sat awhile. Will not recommend this hotel. Great location but needs cleaning

I'm a Diamond Hilton Honors member and this is the most disappointing Hampton Inn I've stayed at in 15 years! The staff were very friendly, that was not the issue. It's the maintenance of the property. My stay was only 2 nights so I tolerated it since I had been changing hotels nightly for a week and didn't fill like changing again. An unpleasant odor pervaded the hotel and clung to my clothes. The hallway carpeting is dirty, ragged, torn, poorly patched, and lined with dust at the edges. My hotel room looked like it had been poorly patched and repaired by unqualified staff who were quickly restoring it after a disastrous frat party. I will not be staying here again.

Room was clean. Breakfast was nice.
I went there and used a gift card to pay partial of my room.
They accepted my gift card when I checked in, then charged my card for the full price, days later.
Then tried charging me again.
The whole point I went and stayed there is to use my gift card (which they accepted) then asked me for the gift card number almost a week later.
Which I no longer possess that useless card.
Over charged me for a room and ended up not honoring the gift card I used. Didn’t even TRY to apologize or get to the bottom of what the issue was. Extremely disappointing. I will never go to this hotel again, possibly any other Hilton property as well.

The mattress was awful, it felt like sleeping on a plank of wood covered by a thin pad. I woke up every time I rolled over. The free breakfast was good though, they had a make-your-own waffle bar, sausage, eggs, fried potatoes, some pastry items, and cereal. The pool was quite small as well, and we could hear people walking around upstairs to the point that it was making it difficult to fall asleep.

House keeping could use an improvement. Checked in an found a wrapped sandwich in the microwave and a child's Barbie watch in the drawer. No spare rolls of toilet paper and no kleenex in the container. Sink drain stopper was basically non-functional. Not what we learned to expect on many stays at Hampton. A highlife, however, was Alice who was working the breakfast area. Very pleasant, helpful and constantly busy working to keep the area stocked and clean!!

UPDATED 01_2025: At this point I have stayed here 5 times over the last 12 months and NEVER again. As you will see in my original review below there are issues but the hotel was convenient to work I do in the area. I have attached 2 new pictures of this last and final stay. 1 is how the mirror looked when I got into the room, who would leave it smeared like this and call the room ready 2 is the TV that has permanent drip marks and smears that can not be cleaned, we tried.

Second my son found a feminine pad IN his bed when he pulled back the sheets. It was in the wrapper but how does that get in the sheets when you are making the bed

As I stated below once again the room had no soap, so not joking about what I said below, ask for shampoo, soap, conditioner, and towels the minute you check in as you are sure to be out of a few of those items. Better yet pick a different hotel, there are plenty of options in the area.

Breakfast is always nasty, obvious they do not care how the food looks or tastes.

Pool was FREEZING cold, kids could not stay in more than a few minutes.

I gave this place many chances but they obviously do not care about how they look or how they come across. This place is more like a $50 a night motel or maybe a place that rents by the hour.

Original review from my first 3 stays:

I stay here every few months, it is convenient and I'm a diamond member with Hilton.

Staff was good, hotel and rooms not so much. Rooms are dated and just OK.

I would recommend that as soon as you get in check your shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles in the shower. Last 3 times at least one is near empty or empty and you are yelling for someone to go out and find someone to give you a new one while you are stuck in the shower. I would think simple housekeeping rule would be they get changed every check out but here it is your responsibility....

Attached is the sunshade that covered my window.

As far as wheelchair accessible rooms barely fit our needs. Small bathroom and the bathroom door opens outwards which blocks the front door and access to your room. It was a constant mess of opening the door, trying to navigate the wheelchair out of the way of the bathroom door, close bathroom door, and then go where I wanted.

Mirror and all bottles like soap and lotion by the sink are completely OUT of reach for a person in a wheelchair. This is not a room a person in a wheelchair can use alone, you will need help.
