The price was good. Staff was friendly and welcoming. But the actual building was clearly old and tired and the rooms needed attention. My room smelled wet and musty as soon as I walked in. The walls were just generally dirty with evidence of previous spills still on the walls. The light fixtures were neglected with dead bug carcasses, and I had a tub that wouldn’t drain. The furniture in the room was also well past its prime. (It was falling apart). I probably wouldn't stay here again. But if you looking for a clean bed at a decent price, it’s ok. Better than being on the street.

The hotel looks nice and the room is clean but my room was missing the smoke detector and the bathroom door lock didn't work. The lady who checked me in was very nice and professional

The hotel met my expectations. Rooms were clean and roomy. My husband is physically challenged and the room gave ample space to maneuver in his scooter. Bathrooms were clean and towels nice and fluffy. The desk clerk (Heather) was very friendly and professional. Great representative of southern hospitality. Heather made the in and out process so uncomplicated as she seems very knowledgeable. The price was reasonable but room need a little update for technical ease.

The sheets and bed were comfortable and felt bright, white, and clean. Sofa in my room was broken. Carpet had food remnants on it —ie, a black pizza olive among other morsels. Hair dryer was slimy when I picked it up to use and then I found 3 thick black hairs on the front by the switches. Lots of clean towels. The floors throughout the hotel were either sticky or slimy. The treadmill in the ‘fitness center’ worked great. No water or towels in the ‘fitness center.’ When I opened the cabinet where the towels should have been, there was a lot of trash in there —ie, old coffee cups, used napkins, wrappers, etc. my room smelled ok, AC worked, and the coffee station appeared well stocked but I didn’t use it. The downstairs front-desk area decor appeared clean, smelled ok, and looked current—not out-dated and forgotten like the rest of the building. Downstairs bathroom was filthy with water and dirt everywhere. The iron and ironing board worked ok. I would never stay here again.

Positive: location great. near interstate and stores. clean Negative: weekend front desk staff missing. room key stopped working for myself and other guest overnight. only one elevator working at a time. rooms were older and worn.

I paid $82 total in advance & thought it was well worth the $. It is a former Hampton Inn. I like having a coffee maker, frig & microwave in my room. Breakfast is 6-9. It had a great variety: grits, cheese & butter, waffles, biscuits with white sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage Patties, 4 diff types of bagels, 2 diff muffins, cereal/milk, coffees, juices, etc even going down right before 9, there was still plenty of food!|The bathroom supplied 2 good size bars of soap, lotion, shampoo AND conditioner.|There is a nice area outside the front door that is covered & has some benches.|The lobby has nice seating areas with a fireplace & tv.

The best place to stay for the price at this exit. They have my business as long as I'm traveling and I travel through there at least four times a year every 3 months. So I stay there going and coming which makes eight times a year and sometimes more. Only place I will stay if they are operating. The general manager and all the employees are super professional and make you feel like family. They have an awesome breakfast buffet and the ladies that run the morning breakfast buffet are lovely to visit with. They make it a wonderful morning. See you guys in a few weeks!

I was very impressed with the Hamilton Inn. The staff was very helpful and professional (especially the breakfast crew). The location was convenient and appeared to be safe. The room was clean, quiet and had everything I needed. The breakfast was excellent and a great way to start my day! I stayed in 2 other major chain hotels the same week. They were more expensive and didnt come close to the Hamilton Inn. I would definitely stay there again!
