The food was okay. As far as the steak, I prefer the filet over the New York strip. Large amounts of rice and noodles were given. I wish it came with more veggies. For dessert I ordered rainbow sherbert, it was freezer burned. My friend ordered chocolate ice cream and said it was fine. The Virgin Pina Colada was good. My friends said their adult Long Island was very weak and tasted like a pre-mix.
Atmosphere- Poor ventilation... the ventilation system needs to be repaired/ updated. Also, the menus were very sticky and had food stick to them.
The service was okay. My seat at the table was very uncomfortable, as I was on the corner and had a far reach for my for and drink.
No reservation, was seated very quickly.
Auto grat of 18% on all checks.

Hamada has changed so much; especially since covid times. Decor is antiquated, prices has risen ridiculously and not to mention the mandatory 18% gratuity automatically added to your bill. This was added during covid as a temporary fee now it's still in place. The food is much of the same which leaves room for all the other hibachi spots popping up and snatching their customers! When your at the top you have to stay on your game. Focus on the customers not the financial bottom line in times when consumers have choices.

The food was great and tasty, the chef was very friendly, professional and very clean. The issue was with the waitress, who seems to be always in a rush to take our order to eat or drink when we just sit down on the table, not giving us time to check the menu. The place is nice and well decorated. It's a little pricey but worth visiting.

Truly one of my favorite places to go to, my only complaint is the overcrowding of tables unnecessarily. If I go early, close to open I do not want to be hanging off the corner of an overcrowded table. More than 8/9 adults per table is too much for the size of them. Most chefs are pretty good, I just wish the chefs were consistent. If I pay for extra garlic butter I shouldn’t get burned food, and I shouldn’t have to ask for something I paid for and asked my waiter for. Overall, love coming here.

Don’t come here unless you have the biggest back in the land. Don’t purchase an appetizer. They are good, but you will be full on the amount of hibachi they give you. Their portions are no joke. I will be back on a day when I need to emotionally eat my feelings. You will have delicious leftovers if you decide to come.

Today 12 family members and I went to celebrate 2 family members birthday. Was looking forward to it all week. We orders placed and we told them 3 separates bills.

While waiting to be seated someone go to get 3 drinks from the bar 15 dollars a piece with tax $50. Once seated started cooking. Orders mixed up which was no major.

But one of the members had a food allergy to shrimp, it was indicated to the order taker. But the cook didn’t know nor asked, first issue. The cook tells us she should have told him. If already indicated I can do seafood when orders taken, but was. Then my daughter order another martini they charged 2 more on the than she paid for the first drink. Then steaks was ordered let the cook know they was done enough and took them off anyway. Grandson bit into and blood running out.

Manager comes my daughter talks to her Genevieve beyond rude and most definitely not managerial material. I thought when she first started talking she was going to do the right thing.

She have her staff yo take the plates with steaks in the kitchen to redo which the problem finish cooking what they didn’t finish in the first place. By this time half family got food and others not. So that ruined the birthday celebration.

Then she come up with she will take 10% off. When they automatically put 18% gratuity on everyone bill.

I question the manager how is this same drink being charged more than the 1st one and she said I did you a favor charging you the $15.

Sitting listening to other families there getting the birthday song by the staff, none of that happened because of the poor services, uncooked food and ignorance. This will be the last time that my family and I come back to this restaurant.

It was one more receipt of almost $300.00, I can’t find it too mad I guess.

This has been an unbelievable experience but for you to be a manager and tell me you was doing me a favor by charging 15 a piece for those 3 and then 17 for that one.

I gave the food a 2 star because it was edible, but I've definitely had better. To start, they seated us right in front of this fan, we had to turn the fan around. Then when we ordered, we tried to get a kids hibachi shrimp (to share between pur kids cause our 3 yr old just picks off everyones plate) but the lady argued with us about how tiny it was and that kids plates were not sharable, policy I guess. So we upgraded to the adult hibachi. Which the shrimp was so over cooked it bent the fork I used to cut the pieces in half. Charged us 5 dollars for an extra plate AND we paid 10 dollars more for WAY more food than we needed. Whatever though. Anyway, I ask what's in their mixed veggies, the lady wasn't really sure and instead of confirming she just made up stuff. Never mentioned bell peppers(which btw consumes the veggie plate). So our food starts to be cooked, my veggies were barely on the grill and he's slapping them on my plate, like what...my broccoli was hard, still raw. Some of the onion was still raw too. They totally disregarded the fact we had children with us, I had to ask for a kids cup and she only brought me one.(I had a 3 yr old with me, they really expected her to drink out of a regular cup). The food was bland. I smothered mine in yum yum sauce because of the lack of flavor. It took forever for any request. We asked for to go boxes and the check, took me 20 mins to pay, get boxes and a bag. The audacity to take a 18% gratuity and then ask for more on my receipt...smh. For 4 hibachi meals. It cost us 150 bucks. Ridiculous. Also, I suggest giving more fried rice if you are gonna force your customers to pay 3 bucks for it. We won't be back though. FYI the salad comes with ranch on it 🤯 worst hibachi place I've ever been to.

Ordered the hibachi steak. For the most part, the food was great (it came with a very generous amount of noodles, veggies, and chicken fried rice), but the steak itself was chewy (ordered medium). Would definitely dine here again, but would order a different meat.

Each hibachi dish is pricey, but the portions are enormous so I'd say it's good value. However, they don't allow sharing of hibachi dishes (so you can't split a dish with a friend even though it's totally enough for two). Be prepared to bring home leftovers!
