Cutsy coffee bar in Historic Downtown Frankfort. Not many options food wise, but if you want a simple pastry or bagel with your coffee it's perfect. Many options of flavors for hot and cold. I'm a big fan of a latte and they did not disappoint. They definitely get crowded and have waves of business.

My adult daughter and I were passing through on a cross country trip and felt like grabbing some coffee. After some research, we settled on Grounded.

It’s set on a quiet little small-town area. If we had more time, we would have walked all the local shops.

The inside felt cozy, but not packed. There are two area to sit, and plenty of people were lounging, sitting and sipping their coffee.

Loved this place, very pleasant staff, made my morning. Coffee is good so was the beagle. It has a great atmosphere, would rather come here any day over the chain joints. Sadly I don't live close and I am not out this way often but I will return next time I am in the area.

I’ve been trying different cafes. Today’s find was Grounded and it did not disappoint. I ordered caramel Latte and it was amazing. I haven’t had it this good in a while. Coffee was perfect amount of bitter with the sweet of the caramel. I also ordered the coffee cake and it was absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be back.

They have delicious coffee and a very warm, comfortable atmosphere. I have tried many cafes and their coffee is by far the strongest I’ve had. Their food is also delicious, with an assortment of donuts, bagels, croissants, and toasts, I highly recommend this place if you’re looking to step up your coffee game and support a small business in downtown Frankfort!

Very cute coffee shop, it’s great that they expanded the store itself. Service feels cold. The matcha latte is very weak in flavor and just tasted like milk, I’ve tried it twice now. I personally rate cafes on their tea options since I’m not a coffee drinker although my husband said he enjoyed his coffee. Since the matcha was no good, I don’t see this as a go to place for me. Would recommend for coffee drinkers.

It’s a lovely local coffee place. Much better than franchised coffee places. Cozy and friendly atmosphere. Very European coffee place style.
The only thing I can suggest for their service is in house mugs / cups for those who are not taking out.
I visited this place for couple of coffee cups, but noticed they have house sandwiches/snack/meals as well. Haven’t tried those.

Adorable coffee shop in the heart of downtown Frankfort. The shop might be small but has charm to it. They serve do rite donuts which is a plus. Their espresso was smooth with a little creamy texture to it. Prices is average which was just under $7 altogether but most of it was from the donut which costed $4.
