We arrived at around 1100 p.m. local time, just needed a place to stop for the night before continuing westward. The night clerk was friendly, and apologized for the condition of the parking lot due to the remodeling construction going on. The check-in procedure was quick and no-hassle. Now on to Room 14.||Our room was clean and well furnished, with a king bed and flat screen TV, as well as a microwave and a dorm size refrigerator. The furniture matched, and everything worked. It was rather stifling in the room since the air conditioner hadn't been turned on, but it cooled down pretty quickly after doing so. We did notice a few long hairs on the mattress sheet near the pillows, but no big deal to me. Fell asleep pretty quickly, and woke up feeling pretty refreshed. No complaints about the bed, but the pillows could have been a little more "plush". Guess I should have brought my personal "My Pillow". (Yes, I am a pillow freak) The bathroom was spartan, just your basic toilet, sink, and tub/shower combo, with a small mirror over the sink, with one light. Plenty of towels and washcloths. All in all, I would stay here again if I was in the area, it appears they are trying to make the place nice. And for less than $ 60.00, you can't beat the price!!!

Man I can't say what I really feel about this place. Don't stop, keep driving to the next hotel!!!

Update to responce from owner.
Sir, the room was rented under my travel companion. The nice lady at the liquor store on the property called you to come rent us a room for 2 with a 3 legged Cat. You told us the rooms was recently remodeled. You also made a comment to my lady friend, that she had nothing to worry about traveling with that huge mountain man. Referring to my long hair and beard, and to my 6'2" 300lbs stature. It was raining that whole night.
The room was not remodeled. The pillows were filled with extra bedding an no pillow. The beds were completely flat and uncomfortable.
There were bare, uncapped wires hanging from the ceiling, were a smoke detector used to be. This room had many other issues and I'm sure you now know that we stayed there. We were traveling from NY to AZ, and stayed there on about Oct 25th or 26th in a white jeep compass with NY plates. I can provide a copy of the credit card statement if you so required to prove our stay.

Although, management was extremely nice and welcoming, I didn't enjoy my stay here. You had to pay an extra $5 a day for internet and they didn't even have an ice machine. I had to pay $1 for each cup of ice! In addition, they got live in staff, who are noisy and inconsiderate. They play loud thumping music that you can hear and feel through the walls. I eventually checked out due to the noise.

We arrived and checked in but the room was under construction. They then moved us to another room but the carpet was wet from the Air-conditioner/heater. They had no other room due to the event... shower seemed clean but the carpet in the room was not. Beds? If you make reservations make sure your room is a newly remodeled room.. Then it will be fine.. Not 5 star fine but it will be OK. No WIFI or morning Coffee.

We weren't sure of our arrival time but the staff was awesome. You get what you pay for as far as the state of the room, things are a little outdated and the windows don't open, but the beds were clean and very comfortable and the shower was hot with a good amount of pressure. For this price this is an awesome hotel. Honestly, the guy at the front desk was so nice.

This hotel is very conveniently located off the interstate in Greenup, across the street from a large truck stop with a few dining options. The outside of the building looks well-maintained and the parking lot is well-lit. The inside appears clean but hasn't been updated since the 70s. Some fresh paint and new furniture/bed coverings would go a long way. The bathrooms are again clean but just seem somewhat shabby due to age. The beds were comfortable and the heater worked very well! We didn't stay for the continental breakfast (only two kinds of cereal) but went to the IHOP Express across the street instead. My husband said the front desk staff was polite and helpful. Overall, it was a decent room for the price.
