This is the second time that we have stayed in this motel in the last year. The room was clean and comfortable. The room featured a new shower in the restroom. The rooms are easy to get into and out of. My wife and I stayed one night and it cost us a modest fee of about $73.00. The lady who checked us in was polite and helpful.

I had a very nice visit and stayed at Green Gables with my 18 month old baby and my 36-year-old son and his grandmother. The rustic atmosphere was charming and the floors were not carpeted but had a nice photo wood finish that was easy to clean up, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. They gave me a military discount which was unexpected, but nice. I would recommend staying there again.

I stopped in to get out of the weather. The lady at the desk was very nice and even expressed her concern when I was about to leave for work. She was right. The roads were too slick, so I came back. Very nice, I would definitely stay again.

For a small town motel, it's definitely good. The rooms are clean, the beds and pillows are comfortable, the furniture is decent, and WIFI, TV, and even a coffee pot with coffee disc's are provided. This is where out of the area deer hunters stay during deer season. I was satisfied staying overnight during a severe winter storm.

At the last minute, I found myself with car trouble and needed a place to stay in Rushville, Illinois. I contacted Greene, Gables and Seema, who manages the two hotels in Rushville, was very accommodating, and I was able to have a room for two nights until my car was fixed. The room was very clean. It was equipped with a microwave and small refrigerator. The bathroom was very clean and had a walk-in shower. I would stay there again if needed. Highly recommend this motel. There is also an excellent Mexican restaurant within walking distance.

I stayed for one week in this motel and have the following observations that I hope are helpful to others.||||Pros: ||Great location - right on the highway, near the best restaurant in town (Los Charros) and near Scripps Park.||||Price - when I stayed, it was $70/night which is good, in my opinion.||||Other guests - I met a lot of very nice people sitting out front; other guests like to sit out smoking, drinking, relaxing, etc, and they are mostly interesting people.||||Bed - comfortable and clean.||||TV - works and gets all the channels you would want.||||Cons:||Lamp by the bed didn't work and outlet by the bed didn't work. ||||Room - old but clean. There was one rocking chair and one upright chair; otherwise, sit on the bed. No carpet.||||Would I stay here again for $70/night? Yes, the pros outweigh the cons.

Me and two other adults and one child stayed in room 10 which had two big beds and a full size in it. The lady that checked us in was really nice and toured us through all of the different rooms that were available. She offered a nice rate and a military discount. The room had a nice new flooring installed, an AC unit that managed to keep the room nice and cool, 70 degrees in 110 degree outside temp, clean sheets, blankets, and pillows with no bed bugs, a shower that had really hot and cold running water with a clean shower stall. There was also a fridge that had a great but small size freezer which could fit ice cream cones in and frozen along with milk and space for other small groceries, a coffee maker, and working wifi and TV which we did not use. The area also gets good strong signal for T-Mobile as well which is hard to find out in the rural country. The stay was better than a lot of fancy hotels that I have stayed at before and when I comeback up for next year's family reunion I wont be staying anywhere else. Don't judge the motel by appearances and you will find a pleasant surprise. Also you can. Doordash from Casey's, the post office, Hardee's, and Dollar General as well and the local people had no issues finding the room. 100% recommend and thank the owners for having such a great place

This is a small non-chain motel with few amenities. But the rooms were clean, the towels and sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable. It was quite and the air conditioning worked, which was a huge blessing because it was HOT outside.||It has a refrigerator that worked.||I would stay there again on my next trip.
