The food I ate from this restaurant was absolutely delicious. I had the Malfouf (stuffed cabbage leaves), the steak kabob platter, and an artichoke bread. I live in the city, and although the restaurant is in Orland, I would not hesitate to make the drive over and over gain for the quality of food I received. I don't want to end my review without addressing the high level of customer service. The women who serviced me were so welcoming and accommodating; even offering me to try things I may not have ordered and working with me to pronounce some of the items I was interested in.

Cold food may be one day old.
Prices are relatively higher than other bakeries for no additional reason.
Store is dirty needs attention ,signs all over the place like don’t eat here , don’t touch here…..even the menu looks filthy white toilet paper.
Very rude customer service.
Blame customers for their mistakes ( Why you come early!)

Had a really large catering order yesterday. 2 stuffed lambs, oozy rice and freekeh rice with chicken, fettuccine pasta, spinach and cheese fatayer, kufta with tomatoes, and kibbeh for 200 people and the food was spectacular. Everyone gave the food a thumbs up. This is the best catering you will find in Chicago. May God bless them.

This place is a gem! I have been ordering out from here for years and they have never disappointed me. Their warek dawali (stuffed grape leaves) are my favorite in the area and all of their pies are always fresh & delicious!

I order platters from this restaurant at least once a month. I always call in advance for it to be ready at a certain time. In April I ordered a platter and a side of kibbah. I sent my family member to pick up the order, after arriving with the food I realized that we were missing our side of kibbah. So in May when I ordered a platter I let the lady know and she acknowledged the situation and was apologetic and added the side of kibbah to this order. After driving off when I went to pick up the order I decided to call and verify that I was given my entire order.. they forgot the kibbah again so I had go back around and get the remainder of my order. The last 2 times I’ve ordered from there I’ve asked for my platter to be customized and they managed to get it wrong. So yesterday after picking up I called to speak to them and Rana instantly got defenses and argumentative she began to aggressively argue that I placed my order wrong. I understand that human error occurs and that’s ok but when a paying customer calls to inform you of an error there is no reason to get loud and rowdy before the customer can even get two words in. This place (or at least Rana) doesn’t care about its customers experience. Also do not get my started on how oily this places rice is. It’s a hit or miss.

I’ve been coming here for many years when I’m in the area. I will buy one of everything to think it’s good for a weekend and it’s usually gone by the end of the day! My kids who are seven and twelve ate the entire tray of stuffed grape leaves!The kooba

The stuffed lamb was exceptional, cooked to perfection. The chicken wasn't as good, it was done maybe using rottaisiare the spices were good but not to my tasting and I love chicken. The salads were great but the humus felt like the one we make at home, I guess it coupsve been better. But, overall the service was great and food was done on time.

My husband and I have ordered from here for 4 years but the last two times I feel you served me the scraps you would give to an animal. I’ve never seen someone roll dawali as terrible as you have the last few times. The grape leaves are hard and chewy and all over the place. Today we fasted all day because it is Ramadan and we were obviously hungry so we had to eat it because there was no other option. I just can’t believe you sold this to us it’s disappointing. We won’t be back.
