In A Nutshell:

-Grand Spa is hidden gem 🙂
-Located in an area w/ plenty of other spas, this was a great find.
-It isn't the fanciest or most beautiful, but if you are looking for the bare bones of a great Korean body scrub and massage, then this is your spot.
-I've been to several jjimjilbang's in Busan, Seoul, Dallas, Atlanta, Las Vegas & the San Francisco Bay Area, so I know what I am looking for when it comes to a good experience.
-I like going to these types of Korean spa's b/c what they lack in ambience, they make up in spades w/ the service you are paying for.
-The spa is divided into the men's and women's sides w/ no co-ed area.
-The men's spa has a locker room, small restroom, a couple of rooms to lay down, a medium sized room to sit in a lounger, a spa room w/ hot, warm & cold tubs, showers & a sauna/steam rooms.
-The scrub room is tiny, but I was able to get a really authentic body scrub from J.
-He scrubbed all that old skin away & then I got a nice massage after the scrub.
-The body scrub/massage was $110, which is about $20 cheaper than the competitors in the area.
-If you check-in on Yelp for the first time, you can get an extra 10% off, which they honored.

Overall, I feel very relaxed, my skin is smooth & feels great. I will definitely come back again!

I’ve been a loyal customer at Grand Spa for about 10 years, coming in weekly and spending around $1,500-$1,800 annually. Despite my long-term loyalty, I’ve had several issues with the front desk lady over the years. She clearly doesn't like me, and today was the final straw.

I asked for an extra towel, which is a simple request for any spa. The front desk lady told me once again that they had no extras, despite the fact that last time she said the same thing, and I watched a cleaning lady hand me a towel right in front of her. How can they "run out" of towels when they’re visibly available? It feels personal, and it’s incredibly frustrating to be treated like this as a loyal customer.

Grand Spa just lost a long-time customer and the $1,600 a year I used to bring in. It’s a shame, because I’ve supported this business for so long, but the unprofessionalism and lack of basic customer service is unacceptable. I won’t be coming back.

Water wasn't hot and sauna has temperature problems!! Owner doesn't feel any guilty about these issues and never thinking about correcting these issues at all. And payment is what? Transaction fee? It felt like they want more money after regular price.. I hope this place will be closed permanently!!!!! Scrub skill was great but I don't like water temperature at bath and temperature at saunas!

My friend and I decided to come here to have a nice spa day on a beautiful Monday. First and foremost, I love how they have their own free parking lot. That let alone is a gold mine in Los Angeles. I've only been to two other Korean spas before this which are: Wi Spa and Hugh Spa. Wi Spa is a bit bigger with more rooms and co-ed areas, whereas Hugh and Grand are separated. Grand Spa is a perfect spot to have a solo spa day or a girl's spa day. Unfortunately, there's only one esthetician at this time. So if you're trying to have a girl's day at the same appointment time, you would have to book two separate types of treatment like a facial and a massage. My friend and I were both in need of a facial, so we had to book one right after the other. However, there are some cool amenities to use while you wait like hot tub, sauna, steam room, tv rest room, and napping areas. I used the shower and noticed that the products were sulfate-free, which was nice to feel. I used one of the rooms in the napping area to do some work by myself. It was peaceful and quiet.
I did not know what type of facial to choose, so I had the esthetician choose for me. Her name is Linda. She chose a hydrating care facial for me. I noticed that the products used were by the Le Mieux brand. My face had gotten dry coming back from a trip to Bali. I started off by laying down, and she placed my legs in individual leg massagers. I thought this was pretty cool because I'd never gotten a facial with that additional service. The facial started off with a lympathic massage on my shoulders, neck, back, and face. I felt like I was getting a face lift, but gua-sua style. During the facial, she had used hot towels, cold rollers, and even cold towels. She did some microdermasion techniques, high frequency therapy, and a few extractions for me. The cold rollers felt so good on my extractions - definitely soothed the pain. Towards the end, she applied a cold hydrating mask over some cotton facial gauze. While the mask was setting, she massaged my hands and arms on both sides. It was so relaxing! She ended my facial with vitamin C serum, hyalouronic acid, collagen, moisturizer, and sunscreen. I've never had a 90 minute facial done before, let alone a Korean facial, so this facial was a whole treat from start to finish. I truly loved my whole experience from start to finish.
Honestly, I would definitely love to go back for a body scrub and full body massage!

They used to be $12 (to $20) admission fee before and it was a great deal. But now when nothing has changed in terms of services or renovations, but the price was now $30 due to a recent price increase, I'll NEVER step foot into this place again although this used to be my frequent haunt.

There are many other Korean Spas that have that do $25-$35 admissions with many more facilities like different types of saunas, in house restaurant etc. And several have even Groupon deals for $19 admissions or like Natura Spa where I got admission, body scrub, mineral oil massage and a mini facial for $59 total.

So as long as the pricing doesn't drop back down, they have surely lost my patronage.

Wow what a great spa! The day pass is affordable and gives you access to the pools and saunas. It was quiet and calm when I went, so I’ll definitely be back!

I use this place most for an overnight stay.
There’s nowhere else you can stay all night and hot tubs as low as $20 in the LA area!
Available lots of sleeping space except weekends. Secured free parking within the facility. It is the perfect place to “solo” girl night.

2021 December updates;
(Required Vaccine proofs)
Back to this place and glad the place still exists! After and during the COVID wave again, the admission fee raised to $30, however still worth it. Saturday night, almost empty.
Keep up the good job👏
Available order outside food(Uber etc) by yourself since they don't take restaurants order anymore.
