We were at this hotel for a small business meeting, and it was spectacular. Rooms are very well appointed, quiet, with good HVAC and plentiful amenities.

The staff was very kind - accommodating at the front desk, events team, food & beverage and valet.

The bar and restaurant team - including the awesome cooking studio head chef and bartenders - were not only great, but also cared for -all- guests safety.

The location is fantastic - one of the nicest areas of Birmingham - with tons of things to do right around it, including a fantastic outdoor mall (it's across from the zoo/botanical garden/country club).

I recently completed an extended stay at the Grand Bohemian Hotel in Mountain Brook, Alabama. The hotel is very nice and was definitely a good choice for an extended stay at a hotel. This hotel is located in an area that is convenient to the freeway and provides numerous options for restaurants and shopping. The hotel staff, in general, was very attentive and provided good customer service. There were, however, three hotel staff members that deserve special recognition. Rod Clark, Tyra Rogers and Sha Bennett went above and beyond to ensure my stay at the Grand Bohemian was an excellent experience. They were always pleasant, courteous and professional. They worked to ensure any issue I encountered was expeditiously resolved in an appropriate manner.

The Grand Bohemian is a beautiful, immaculate hotel in a great area. The guest rooms are comfortable, quiet and well maintained ... awesome shower too. The entire staff is friendly and professional. The front desk recommended Corey Turner to us for our return drive to the airport. He is a professional, friendly, safe and courtesy private driver with a spotless vehicle. 5 Stars for the hotel and their staff and 5 Stars for Corey Turner (Private Driver)..

I had high expectations for the Grand Bohemian Birmingham after a fantastic experience at their Charlotte location, but this stay was a major disappointment.

From the moment I entered the room, I was hit with a strong bleach smell, and several drawers were left open, making it feel like someone had just checked out moments before I walked in. It didn’t feel clean or welcoming at all.

Worse, there were unsupervised elementary aged girls in the room next door—running, yelling, slamming doors late into the night. When I reached out to the front desk, I was told the hotel was oversold and there was nothing they could do. For the extremely high cost per night, I expected a far more relaxing and polished experience.

This location doesn’t come close to the quality and professionalism I experienced in Charlotte. I do not recommend staying here—especially if you're planning something special. Definitely not worth the price.

I had a great experience at this hotel, very clean and organized. It was a nice place to stay at, i felt at home. Victor welcomed us and helped us with our luggage. He was very consistent and make sure we were okay. Over all a 10/10 and i will be back in the future.

The location is the best part about this hotel. The rooms are comfortable enough. But as an avid traveler, for both work and personal, this hotel is grossly overpriced (including food and drinks). The service is subpar, particularly for the price. After obtaining a late check out (since check in is 4 pm and check out is 11 am), housekeeping repeatedly was banging on the door from 10:30 am on. After calling front desk, the new attendant did not have a record of the late checkout. The whole experience was aggravating. This hotel is the classic definition of big fish in a small pond. You would be better off saving money and staying someplace less expensive and just spending your money on all the fabulous restaurants this city has to offer.

Front desk was phenomenal. Very helpful. Tripp, Sha and the other female which I can’t remember her name where all very welcoming. Beautiful location with many restaurants walking distance. The beds were amazing, comfortable and the shower was fantastic. The decor and paintings in the building were also something to see and enjoy.

During my stay at the grand bohemian hotel, I was greeted by Rod Clark with PMC. He approached me with the most professional greeting, explained the valet process, asked me my name, repeated my name throughout my trip, gave me great directions to the area since I have never been here and made me feel like the hotel was waiting on me to arrive. Once he left his team extended the same courtesy, Perry brake and Ladarius Reed gave me the best service once he left and it was like they didn’t miss a beat. I will definitely be back to visit the grand bohemian hotel, especially my newly found friends, Rod, Perry, and Ladarius. See you soon guys! Keep up the great work!
