Very nice event center. Drinks was alittle high for me but, I am more of a dry wine drinker and they only had sweet wines. The event center was decorated very very nice for the occasion.

Goudy Entertainment at 4501 Gary Ave in Fairfield is a hidden Diamond that will soon Illuminate the DT resurgence.

Also got to enjoy some great food from #JAHLOVETOCOOK. Amazing fresh Tacos, Nachos and Chimichanga. Ohhh and the Cilantro Rice...A Must Have.

Goudy Entertainment has bad customer service and not sticking to the contract of 12-8pm she doubled book the building and we gained access to the building at 3pm instead. our show started at 4 so we had no time to set up and they didn’t have the chairs as promised in the contract leaving our guest to have to stand. Didn’t provide drinks, no chairs as promised and charging us extra because of her double booking.

The place is nice for an intimate party. But the owner/bartender is rude and unprofessional. No announcements were made that the free bar was over but then she got upset when someone ordered drinks and couldn't pay and made a rude announcement and got upset when she was met with drunk upset backlash and had the whole party shut down instead if asking that one person to leave since they were obviously already too drunk. they lie also I was there I heard after the order an announcement nothing beforehand.

The event venue space is nice balloons, decor etc. The experience with the owner was horrible. She had a problem with the client asking questions and was argumentative and very unprofessional. She had a issue with her plumbing and blamed the catering vendor and was rude to catering staff when addressing the issue. This caused the event to end earlier because the caterer was told to leave. Furthermore prevented guess from eating again if they wanted to or take food with them.

When we were setting up decorations and unpacking centerpieces the foam that the centerpieces were wrapped in got on the floor. Owner wanted to know what we did to her floor when we were sweeping up the foam and we should of taken the centerpieces outside to open them. We had fragile ten arm candelabras that we had to take outside and breakdown because she did not want the boxes in her venue. We had about twenty five plus vases with water that we had to take outside and empty because she would not allow us to use the bar sink to pour out the water.

I have been to a lot of events as a guest and a planner and this was by far the worst I have ever experienced form a owner when it comes to customer service and professionalism. I will never attend this venue again as a decorator or guest. I can only imagine how the client felt.

If I could leave zero stars I would. The owner was very unprofessional. She misrepresented the space. We wanted to book it for a repast. We were told it would accommodate 100 people on one side. She sent pictures. She came highly recommended. We were very disappointed. Tonya was very combative and actually seemed as though she wanted to fight and invited us to wait on her to get there! Needless to say we would not recommend this place because of her ghetto attitude!

Venue/space nice, however, the customer experience provided by owner, Tonya S is AWFUL. If I had an option to select zero stars I definitely would, because no stars would be a better representation of my experience at Goudy Entertainment.

As a vendor and a guest at an event held here, I was appalled by the lack of professionalism. I would never return back to this venue under any capacity. Please be informed that the owner is very combative/argumentative and does not attempt to rectify problems in a civilized manner. I would NOT recommend anyone to rent nor be a vendor at this establishment.

Worst experience ever. The manager or owner - I hope she is not the owner was very unprofessional. She ended the event early and made the event group take all their items outside to package at night and it was all women. The caterer was made to shut down early without all the guest at the event getting a meal. I would never return to this venue for anything.
