On our way back to Mexico from Alaska in our camper, we stopped here and had the best clam chowder in the whole world… believe me, we really loved it!
The sandwich was good, but the star obviously was the clam chowder.

Amber,our server, was excellent! She recommended the Santa Fe scramble and it was soooo good. Buckwheat pancakes w/OE eggs satisfied the wife. My sister couldn't finish the chicken fried steak and said it hit the spota

This place is a wonderful combination of roadside Café, local hangout, cultural museum, and surprisingly, a good espresso bar. I had a wonderful fresh crab frittata with sourdough toast for a reasonable price. Folks were friendly and welcoming at 9 o’clock on a Sunday morning. This will be my breakfast stop now when I’m in Crescent City.

My husband loves clam chowder and there’s was amazing. Large portion for sure. The prawns were great and so was the vegetable soup. Fish and chips were also good. Amber is where the dining experience took a turn. It’s a little things that make me happy. A glass with my beer, pre-busing, filling water and not having to ask for it. Amber did all of those things. She was pleasant and efficient!

We stopped in for lunch and we were seated right away. The food was excellent. I had the Tuna Manhattan Melt and my husband had the Steak Sandwich. Service was great. When traveling we love stopping at local restaurants.

Excellent friendly staff offering great service! Gourmet salad & The BEST clam chowder in my life aaaaand loaded with clams! Good views of the harbor. I can't say enough about this place. We came back here twice for great food after being disappointed at the restaurant on the dock.

Well, the weather wasn't geared up for a run to the Tuna Grounds, so Gaspar Hawkins, Tunaboat Joe and I decided to have a little breakfast before we mosey up to the bar for a full day of drinking! Just a small breakfast to tide us over until about 1 ..then we'll have a pizza delivered to the bar!
The Good Harvest Café came highly recommended by one of the local Pinkerton's, because we gave him a straight up warning of our plans, and he even offered to join us after his shift! Standing there with your belly up against a bar top, and a foot on the rail for 7 hours isn't for the week of heart, as a matter of fact it takes the same stamina of an Olympic Athlete.
It was a good thing that we went to the Good Harvest Café for breakfast because we forgot all about the pizza!
