I just had surgery on my arms and needed a lymphatic massage to help with the healing. I got in touch with Robert who was able to get me in quickly for a massage. I was a little worried about the sore spots on my arms but he was so gentle and reassuring and the massage was just what my body needed during this phase of my healing. He was just wonderful! I booked a series of several massages from him. Highly recommend!!

I purchased my wife a 90-minute therapeutic and deep tissue massage combo for a Mother’s Day gift. Robert was so highly rated and nearby; I was very hopeful she would have a relaxing and rejuvenating experience like those we use to have at Elements Massage in Geneva (now further away since we moved). Unfortunately, neither of us will again patronize Giving Back Massage, and we do not recommend Robert’s services to others. Robert was kind, empathetic, and did give my wife an overall somewhat effective massage. We do not intend to disrespect Robert; we wish to share a few points that I would have liked to have known before purchasing this gift for my wife.
1) Robert needed to be reminded that we purchased the combination, as he started wrapping up 45 minutes in, and also left one leg out of the therapeutic massage before my wife politely asked for it to also be included.
2) My wife felt she was being sold a philosophy and spirituality she had not asked to be sold and felt she was being offered a life coaching lesson in the middle of trying to relax. Robert would at multiple times say, “I help people like you,” while my wife was sharing things in response to some of Robert’s questions about her.
3) Robert started giving my wife a tantric massage without her permission; after finding out what was happening, my wife kindly asked that he stop.

I was fighting the winter doldrums when I went to see Robert for a full massage and energy work. After a 90-minute session at his beautiful massage suite, I left feeling like a new person. Robert has a real gift for connecting in his intuitive way. He takes time to understand where you are and what you need. He's very easy to talk to as well as a talented masseuse. I've been there several times and I realize this is not just a splurge thing but a much-needed body and soul healing. You will NOT be disappointed!
