I stopped by The Giant for a coffee and was really impressed with the overall experience. I ordered the Honey Vanilla Latte, and it was perfectly balanced—smooth, just the right amount of sweetness, and had a great depth of flavor. You can tell they use quality ingredients and take their time crafting each drink.

Beyond the coffee, the atmosphere is what really stood out to me. The open floor plan makes the space feel airy and inviting, and it’s a great spot to either get some work done or just relax. The vibe is warm, modern, and welcoming—exactly what you want in a coffee shop.

If you’re looking for a solid coffee spot with great drinks and a comfortable ambiance, The Giant is definitely worth a visit. I'll be back for sure!

Popped into Giant Coffee Co. on a mission: one writer, one laptop (at 38% battery), and one emotionally charged memoir-in-progress about ex-lovers who shall not be named (but definitely will be written about). And let me tell you, this place delivered.

From the outside, Giant gives off the kind of sleek, modern vibes you’d expect from an architecture magazine spread—complete with palm trees, crisp white lines, and a chic desert-modern aesthetic that says, “Yes, I journal AND I moisturize.”

Inside? Total vibe. Think warm wood tones, industrial ceilings, and just enough green plants to say, “We care about oxygen.” There’s a retro guitar mounted on the wall like a piece of visual poetry (or perhaps a subtle reminder not to date musicians again). The seating is cozy without being too let’s-share-feelings close, and the people-watching is top-tier.

The staff? Friendly, cool, and caffeinated—just like the espresso. My latte was strong (like the boundary I should’ve had with Chad), and the pastry I inhaled was flaky perfection. I did shed a small tear when I realized there were no power outlets, but honestly? Sometimes the universe says, “Just write, don’t scroll.” And I listened.

Giant Coffee Co. is the kind of place that makes writer’s block feel like a temporary detour rather than a brick wall. I left a few pages lighter and a lot more caffeinated.

Will I be back? Absolutely. Next time I’ll just bring a fully charged device—and maybe a first date to psychoanalyze over cortados.

We tried this place for the first time today.
Kalia is a gem! So friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was so chill and inviting. Food was really good. Restrooms are super clean. Love the real plants they use as part of the decor.

Hadn't been here in YEARS. Love the architecture. Open air space when front bay doors are open. Kinda hidden, but a gem.

First-time visit for this reviewer, who enjoyed a mere 13 minutes to pick up a quick snack for a “Power Lunch”, but the ordering-counter was wide open, and Lindsey graciously accommodated a special drink request with aplomb!

Quite tasty lemon-poppy scone, moist and crumbly, freshly homemade. Marvelous when paired with organic whole milk!

Boasting a somewhat idyllic view of the Cancer Survivors’ Park and a cool open-air patio setup on an overcast afternoon; clientele was chill, noticeably neither smelly nor insane; plenty of seating remained, as well as supplies such as lids, stir-sticks, and cocktail-sized unbleached napkins.

An amazing coffee shop both in quality of products (my americano was silky & flavorful & the beast burrito was flavorful) but in design and customer service. Was staying the area for work and found this gem. Ideal for a cup of coffee and go or to do some work and hang out. A must visit spot IMO!

This spot is awesome! Absolutely love the vibe of this spot, and they have lots of space, seating, and outlets. Their menu is somewhat limited. They do not have a matcha, or a very wide variety of non coffee drinks. For food, your options are a muffin or a burrito. The espresso drinks were amazing! I tried the seasonal rosemary latte, and we not disappointed by the flavors. The service was quick, despite there only being one employee working. I would absolutely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a drink in Uptown.
