Checked in, went to room with family. Room was very dirty, flies on walls, bedding was not clean at all ! hair on sheets, broken toilet seat, stains on furniture and carpet. Very unsanitary. Reported it to staff member. He knew about all that. Couldn’t believe it ! He tried to give us another room, but the results were not much better. Trying to get my money refunded. As we came 4 hours away, We decided to drive back home. We did not stay at all ! Not worth anything. Worst ever !!

(June 18th 2023)They have the AC off so when you get your room, it feels like a sauna so then you have to turn the ac on which was an old ac that almost didn’t work but did work. We left it on while we went to the store came back and it was still mildly hot, but was still warm enough that once you lay down you start sweating, so it took about 1 hour for the room to some what cool down.

The manager Yogi & his wife, were great! Yogi showed us the room before we reserved it after a Wedding we attended. We live out of town.
The room was super clean and quiet.
The bedspread was a beautiful floral print. The huge TV was great. It has a Fridge and Microwave it. Thank you Yogi & your wife for a very pleasant visit at your Motel. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great experience at their Motel.
Thank you Yogi

First impressions are everything. With that said there are a few things that about this place that I had to share with everyone. This place like many others has BED BUGS! Walked in the room looked clean and nice. I take one look behind my pillow and there is a bed bug. Luckily I had my travel size bed bug spray. The bed was really comfortable but the fact that I would wake up feeling itchy, no Ma'am! My fault for staying here. Housekeepers are very nice but I wish they would have told me. The Stars are for them.

The rooms were clean and beds are so comfortable. The sheets were clean and pillows were perfect. But the chairs and sofa were dirty old and had unknown stains. There was spider webs in every room, it looked like someone cleaned it years ago and never opened it again. There was a door between the rooms that seemed shady. I loved the bed, I slept so comfortable but with one eye open cuz of that door .

After a busy day of hiking and few hours of driving we were very tired and ready to pull off the road for the night and relax. After checking out a couple other area hotels we went with this one due to price and the room seemed better then another we checked out. (My advice...for road trips and older hotels ALWAYS ask to see the room prior to checking in.) We didn't want to spend the extra to stay at the much nicer Holiday Inn due to it being like 9:00 and we are two thrifty guys just looking for a decent/clean room and hopefully a pool.||As we were warned the pool isn't heated. Due to its cold temp I choose not to get in but just soak my legs and cool down, my nephew did use it. The hotel didn't seem to have many guest so it was a good quiet nights rest. Breakfast wasn't much at all, very limited. The lay out of the room was different but worked well with the sink being outside the bathroom and it all being behind the TV area.||||We had asked about the old restaurant next door and was told it was good and open until 10:30. Well, once again we ended up cutting it close and got there at 10:22, happily the did still serve us and we enjoyed our hot beef dinners!||||After seeing the price listed on here now after the fact the room was over priced at $80 for 2, compared to the $60+ shown here just two wks later. 🙁

I called the 800 number to book two hotel rooms for the same night. The person who took the call spoke very broken English and had to have much of the conversation repeated, this was very frustrating and the call lasted at least ten minutes. We booked the hotel for two rooms at the Chowchilla, CA location. We had been driving all day and into the night and arrived at 1am very tired and ready to get some rest, only to discover that the hotel did not have our reservation and did not have any rooms available. I called the 800 number again, the employee barely apologized for the inconvenience and booked us another two rooms in another city (Madera, CA) about fifteen minutes out of the way. We drove there only to reach an employee who was displeased to be helping us and had a reservation for four rooms, when we only needed two. So we stood out on the cold for another 10-15 minutes while he tried to straighten this out. Once we finally got into our rooms in Madera around 2am they were absolutely disgusting. They were the same price as the ones I had picked in Chowchilla but the quality did not compare to the pictures of those in the least. There were broken tiles in the bathroom and hair in the shower. The lobby in the hotel was so dirty and unkept we were afraid to even eat breakfast there. Overall, the entire experience was disappointing and quite frustrating. This was the first and last time we will ever stay at a Days Inn.
