We toured the Garden Grove Event Center with the owner and we loved it and told him we wanted to book it, he advised us to get with his team that week to get the information to book it. I advised him I had already received an email from his co-worker with all the pricing and catering information so I knew what we wanted. I called back that week and spoke with Amanda Holm who advised me they were busy with weddings that week and to give her time to get back with me. I waited until the next week and spoke with her again and she advised me she was waiting on the approval from the owner before she could send me any information. I waited another week and was advised again she was waiting for the owner to approve the email to me. After that, I was never able to get anyone to answer their phone nor return my voicemails and emails. We visited the venue back at the end of September, it is now November and I have yet to receive any calls back nor any return emails. Every time I call now, it goes directly to voice mail with no calls back. This was going to be for my daughter and her fiancés wedding. My whole family was stunned that a business cannot return calls nor emails to someone wanting to give them money. We just don't get what is going on? The only thing I can maybe even guess is that we told the owner we wasn't going to have any alcohol because we do not drink, maybe they think it is not worth us booking cost wise for them due to this? We planned on doing mocktails instead, smores, and of course planning to spend a lot on food, etc. I am sure it would more than make up for that? So in retrospect, I am thankful they didn't call us back. We have found a beautiful venue else where, we met the owners and they are just the sweetest people, no issues with us not drinking, gave me their personal number so I can text them whenever I have questions. They also provided the venue for the engagement pics and has went out of their way for us. I really felt like we dodged a bullet by not booking with Garden Grove, I cannot imagine what kind of issues we would have had if we would have booked with them and heaven forbid if we would have needed to contact anyone for questions. Venue is pretty, but their customer service is horrible. My niece was married there several years ago along with a good friend of mine who's daughter was married there. This is why we decided we wanted to book with them. I am not sure what has happened with them over the past few years, but I would look else where. There is a lot better venues out there with wonderful people that will want to help you make your special day turn out wonderful.

The Loft and Terrace is beautiful. There is plenty of seating, a spacious dance floor, a nice bar, and much more. The walk down the aisle on the Terrace is beautiful!

I don’t even know where to start. I had the worst experience at this venue on one of the most happiest days of my life . I got married on April 13th,2024. My coordinator changed 1 month & a few weeks before my wedding so I ended up having to replan EVERYTHING that was already planned out! So of coarse I forgot things. There was NOOOOOO absolutely NO organization for almost $7,000 ! I was in the Garden. The day before my wedding I found lots of Ants crawling on a table where guest were supposed to eat the very next day.Moving forward the DAY of my Wedding I knocked down a candle when walking down the aisle due to my dress being too big but the coordinator should’ve known the candles weren’t going to work out where they were placed when she seen my dress. The coordinator was seen 2 times the Day of my wedding. She stated to me the day before my wedding that her help with any hands on services from her would be an additional 1000. Like how unfortunate the DAY before my wedding. What am I paying you for anyway atp? There were also 2 different events on the SAME day as my wedding. Meaning a total of 3 events & I was totally neglected because I wasn’t in the Courtyard which was the biggest venue. So of coarse people were entering wrong venues after me personally putting up my own signs. I could only decorate the day of my event after being told I could do it in the beginning of my wedding week originally . I started decorating 3 days before my event. Planning to have it all done before the day of. Epic failure! Was such a cluster to have to decorate the day of your wedding! It was sooooo much back and forth it didn’t make sense. Literally almost ruined something soooo special to me. I would never refer anyone here. I couldn’t even get “free” saucers for my wedding cake at first without throwing a fit. Didn’t even know it was a charge until the DAY of my wedding! I could go on & on but I’d be writing forever. Terrible terrible experiences. I wish someone would have warned me. Thanks Garden Groove for ripping me & my husband off !!

Drove six hours for our cousins wedding to have cold food. Not the chicken or the pork were even luke warm. Mashed potatoes were ice cold. Plates so small had to try and stuff all food and salad on one plate. Long line at bar. No extra napkins at all. Water and tea were always out. Horrible food service quality, with no recourse given to the brides family.

We had an event scheduled but due to un foreseen circumstances we needed to re schedule it. We was just told to bad it’s that day or nothing and not a dollar back out of the $1000 we put down on it already. Mind you it’s still 5 months away so plenty of advance notice not like we waited til a day before and asked to reschedule it they won’t let us change the date nor refund the money. Sometimes stuff just happens and stuff changes but to just take someone’s money that actually has to work for it is very low. They fail to mention to you in the beginning that you can’t get a refund even way in advance also does not say it on the website. Definitely a bunch of crooks running the place
