Nice little spot to grab a bite when in the area. Had the Italian sandwich with waffle fries. Fries were pretty damn good. The sandwich was fine but I will admit that the meat portion was skimpy as you can see in the photos. It’s by no means an authentic Italian sandwich, or even east coast style, but still a decent sandwich. The bread tasted fresh, either baked in house or bought locally. Will come back to try the pizza and other sandwiches.

Our 1st family experience here was good! Food was just right and flavorful. only 2 critiques appetizers should be out before the food and way too much crust on the pizza for that price.

Their aqua frescas are AMAZING! Carlos, the owner, is one of the nicest human beings and always goes above and beyond. He is super supportive of the community and an extremely hard worker. He always has a smile on his face and so do those he employs.

My favorite thing about stopping in when he’s around, is that he always is willing to tryout different coffee creations and so far, all have been great.

They make great pizza and cilantro lime salads too! If you haven’t, stop in and support a locally owned business!

Lovely gem of a place. Quite randomly, we stopped by for lunch en route from the Bay Area to L.A. and are glad we did. Friendly service with sincere smiles. Enjoyed our food - we had the burger and pizza - freshly made and tasty. (Pineapple) agua fresca was refreshing on a hot day. We sat at the patio in the back and it was charmingly decorated. You can just tell the pride and love that the folks that run this cafe have in their business!

The best calzone I’ve ever had. The dough was delicious and the sauce was incredible. I had the combination and my coworker had the Hawaiian.

A must stop if you’re in the area.

Great spot to have a quick bite on the way. The only alternatives around are fast food chains, so this was an unexpected surprise. The pizza ? was well prepared and delicious. It’s not expensive.
The interior is very nice too (see pictures).

We had traveled from Georgia to LA and decided to meet up in Avenal with friends from Patterson CA. This place sounded so good online that it cinched the decision to meet there. There wasn’t much to do in the town, but we tried the combination pizza at this restaurant and it was very good! Delicious crust! We also tried the mozzarella sticks which were ok, a bit too much breading. They had delicious drinks behind the counter!!!! I forget the name of the one, but the other was a cucumber lime and we bought several cups of each while there and before we left town to drive back to LA. Probably my main complaint was how hot it was inside the place. It’s a small building, so I’m guessing the heat from the kitchen was what made it so hot. One bathroom which was fairly clean. Overall, enjoyed it.
