I cannot begin to express how much FreedomHill has changed my life. This place isn’t just a program—it’s where I found hope, purpose, and a future I never thought I’d have. I used to be the black sheep of my family, the one no one could count on, lost in a cycle of self-destruction. But today? Today, my very own brother looked at me and said, ā€œWhen did you become the responsible one?ā€ And I couldn’t help but smile because I know the answer—Jesus.

FreedomHill is where the OLD truly becomes NEW. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would live to see my 30s—honestly, I didn’t even want to. But now? Now I’m excited for the next 30 years! The peace, joy, and purpose I’ve found here are nothing short of a miracle. Because of the love and guidance I received, I pour as much time as I can into giving back, serving the women currently in the program. If He can do this for me, He can do it for anyone.

FreedomHill isn’t just about recovery; it’s about restoration. It’s about Jesus taking broken pieces and making something beautiful. If you’re looking for hope, this is where you’ll find it.

My daughter was only there for 9 days before they kicked her out. We paid $900 for 9 days. They wouldn’t tell me what she said-just that she threatened someone. She was also told that she was unteachable and when they packed up her things, her medication bottles were thrown into a trash bag where some spilled out and she had to figure out which ones went in what bottles. Then they took her to a RaceTrac gas station in Cornelia & just dropped her off with no phone or money. Seems like they should drop her off at a homeless shelter instead of relying on the police or other people to help her. In addition, they lost her driver’s license and health insurance card. They said they would have put them in the trash bag with her medicines but they weren’t there. It also seems like something as important as that-they should have handed them to her personally.

Freedom Hill has saved me. Mind, body and spirit. They have helped me learn the importance of taking care of myself. I have a close relationship with God now thanks to their guidance. With everything they have taught me I now know with confidence that I can go out into the world and help other women that are in that dark place I once was.
Anyone out there searching, not many other places could make you feel at peace like this. This is my family now and I wouldn’t change a moment of this year.
Thank you!

This place holds a piece of my heart! I’m going on 14 years sober and the women who run this program are a part of my story! I now volunteer at Freedom Hill by leading a phase one class and I’m currently a board member. Serving at Freedom Hill blesses me way more than I can ever can explain. There is no doubt that God is in this place. Recovery is hard; if it were easy, we wouldn’t have addiction. But the program at Freedom Hill aims to make it fun wherever possible, gives grace where needed, invites the family to learn also, and speaks truth in love while believing and allowing for (not getting in His way) God to show up and prove that He is still in the miracle business! I’ve seen so many lives changed here - not just the program residents, but their families and loved ones, too!!!

I can not say enough about them. I have been blessed with the loving care they provide. They single handed save my nieces life!!!! We nearly lost her twice. She is Alive, she is Saved. I encourage any woman who needs help, or any family desperate to find help to contact them. You will not regret it...You will be blessed!!!!

Freedom Hill changes family members for the better as well as addicts. I thought I was saved but with the help of Freedom Hill and a preacher who is on the board, I just now truly accepted Jesus as my savior. Thank you Freedom Hill!

Jesus changed my life at Freedom Hill recovery home. For years, I could not understand why I kept going back to drugs and pills when I had a seemingly good life. But the knowledge I received from the counselors and classes, coupled with a desire to change, gave me the freedom to become the best version of me.
