Owners are very nice and kind. Well worth the money. Rooms were clean and service was a phone call away. Highly recommended to stay for a couple days or a couple weeks.

These people have severe mental issues. The daughter was aware of my SERVICE DOG but the owner decided to take it upon himself to just bust in the door and tell us to get out and the wife followed saying how nasty it was inside. Both started insulting and screaming at my wife. She absolutely held her own with both. This went on for a good hour . Ended up staying that night. Next day the whacko wife demanded 250 dollars for "repairs" at exactly 11 am. Nothing was asked for before that.We took 35 pictures to show nothing was damaged. They were pissed by this AND WENT TO MY WORK TO COMPLAIN TO MY BOSS. Could have had me fired. We were there due to a house fire and my wife has cancer and dealing with chemo. His wife told her it was her own fault for how her life was going. No heart, no compassion..Very angry, hateful, money hungry scum. They are the true white trash of Fox Lake. Their behavior and attitude is very disgusting and barging in our room was EXTREMELY ILLEGAL AND HARASSMENT AT MY JOB. ILL BE SEEING THEM VERY SOON.

Great rooms, good prices, great service. While they aren't the best rooms in the world they are clean their prices definitely make the best up for them and it's a lot of things to do around it. It's best to come a little early because they are first come first serve especially on the weekends. Definitely recommend

Lady at desk was friendly but unable to explain and communicate with customers needs. The gentleman was really rude and needs some training on how to talk to people and how to approach customers.

It nestles comfortably in Fox Lake City, which provided me an easy access to my business meeting. Not to mention, it came with free parking which was a real bonus for me and anyone traveling with a vehicle. No stress about where to park or additional fees, such a relief! My room was a suite. The comfortable bed provided me with a much-needed good night's sleep after a long day of traveling. The room had a warm, welcoming vibe. One of the features I appreciated most was the kitchenette in my room. It was equipped with all the essentials that one could need, which allowed me to prepare a quick snack. The motel also offers free Wi-fi, a necessity for me to keep up with my work. The connection was steady and strong enough for me to be able to wrap up my work smoothly. Moreover, the staff was friendly. They were helpful, prompt in their services, and always ready to assist. Lastly, one cannot forget the cherry on top--proximity to the Whistle Stop Cafe. Just a brisk 4-minute walk from the motel, this quaint cafe was perfect for grabbing a cup of coffee in the morning! In conclusion, Fox Lake Motel fulfilled my expectations in every regard. It was comfortable, clean, friendly and convenient. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone passing through Fox Lake City or on a business trip like myself. The quality of service and the value for money is indeed a rare find.
