While this hotel may only have a 3 star rating, the staff is 5 star. I have stayed in first class hotels around the country, and the staff at this hotel ranks with the best. For several reasons having to due with cost and proximity to Treasure Island, I recently stayed there for 10 days. All staff, front desk, breakfast restaurant, maintenance, housekeepers, and security, were always courteous, helpful, and professional. The common areas and hallways were always clean and well maintained, as was the parking lot. A security guard seemed to always be walking the parking lot. I felt safe walking the area at night. The hotel’s location adjacent to retail shops, including Trader Joe’s, as well as its easy access to the Bay Bridge or points east, makes it a great place to stay in the Bay Area. Plus. San Francisco always looks better from the East Bay, than from within San Francisco. The breakfast fare is reasonably priced and very good. But again, the hotel staff is really what makes this hotel 5 star. I will stay there again. Thank you.

This hotel is very conveniently located by a strip mall, and also next to a shopping mall so it's got food and shopping all within walking distance. Marshalls is just across the street and since this was a last minute trip for me I'd forgotten how cold it is in the bay area and was able to get some warmer clothes. The rooms are nice and clean and the bed is medium firm and comfortable. The bathroom is small but looks newish and clean. The only gripe I have with the rooms is when the AC starts blasting, I start sneezing uncontrollably. So maybe the filters need to be changed or the ducts need to be cleaned. The staff here is very nice and greets and acknowledges you as you come through the door.

We were in the Oakland area for the night and found this place to be comfortable. Good room, easy checkin, excellent service.

Great location, extremely clean and very friendly staff! Cecile was able to get us into our room a little early (we made better time than I had originally anticipated and it wasn’t a problem for the hotel), she was very sweet and always had a smile on her face anytime we saw her. Also, on-site parking is free!! Not many hotels do that anymore, so that is a major bonus in my book. The hotel rooms are a little dated but the lobby, bar, etc have been updated. There is EV charging by the back entrance of the hotel. This hotel is perfectly located to jump on the 580 & 80 and it's an easy walk to Bay Street and The Public Market (both under a mile). Very happy with our choice!

Emeryville has come a long way and is a great place to stay as an option to Oakland or Berkeley. While it is on a noisy street, it is also right across the street from lots of shopping like Trader Joe's, Starbucks and Marshalls. So many food options as well including the Public Market a few blocks away. Breakfast at the hotel is amazing and well worth the additional cost. Pretty outdoor pool and workout room provide opportunities for you to stretch out after a long day of travel.
Rooms are clean and a bit small but beds were comfortable.

Loud you can hear delivery trucks, the stairs, the all of the doors slam shut hard and loud. Felt like I was staying downs stairs in a house you can hear people walking, toilets flushing.

After reading the review of car break-ins just days before my stay I can't say I wasn't concerned staying here but the reservation was set. So GLAD I gave them a chance. rooms were clean, TV came with streaming services and YouTube and the shower had great water pressure. Service is impeccable for a smaller hotel and they have a decent pantry for snacks and drinks in a pinch. Breakfast comes at a price but the quality matched it. I'd recommend for business. Leisure only if you don't plan to walk around the immediate area but A quick drive to the college area does offer a lot of great food options and small shops.
