Reception rep was hard to understand - talked very fast, slight accent (which was not the problem). Wasn’t unfriendly but neither was she welcoming. Just blah. ||As we went to room it’s obvious this location is well past needing an upgrade. Very worn walls, doors and flooring. ||Room had a wet spot on floor. Lifted mattress and found two dead bugs! They were dead and we were tired - thru them away and prayed there weren’t anymore! ||Room was very sad and used. ||Bathroom had hairs everywhere and black mold in shower. See photos. No soap in bathroom (hand nor body) called guest services and waited almost an hour. Still nothing. Called again and waited 10 minutes. At that point I went to reception. Soap arrived when I was there - hand soap, Still nothing bath soap. ||Overall I would say to stay away from this location. I read the reviews and was skeptical. But, we were part of a travel agency that booked a group here.

First time booking here. The lobby and first employee we encountered were nice.
The lot to park your car in is a pot hole ridden dumpy area. It was filled halfway full with white work vehicles and if it was full we had to park along the outside edge of the lot, not fenced. Our room was not clean, smelled moldy and the carpet has seen better days. There were sticky smudges all over the desk area. We decided to leave, go to our regular hotel that thankfully had a cancellation and be in a clean room with my car safe in a garage. I preferred to lose my reservation money and leave than stay here. I do NOT recommend this place.

This hotel is an embarrassment to the Marriott brand especially when your used to the other high-quality hotels that are in the Marriott portfolio. It definitely does not live up to the standards of other Four points hotel properties. |-There is limited to no parking available even though this is a high traffic airport location. It seemed as if a car dealership was using the parking lot to store new minivans which took away spaces for hotel guest.|-Building is very old and worn down, rooms are frozen in time with original 90s furniture that is due to be replaced. Rooms are also poorly maintained with dirty restrooms, torn mattresses and old carpet. Hallways and foyers are dated w/ stained carpet and molded ceiling tiles. |-Rooms do not provide microwaves or mini fridges.|-Little to no soap in shower soap Despencers, small and low quality towels and linens.|-Main entrance doors out of order.

Maria at the Front Desk needs to be fully recognized for her exemplary customer service and compassion!! Due to VERY last minute notification of a change of venue for a seminar, a family member was attending, the switch from a Midway Airport hotel to Four Points Sheraton at O'Hare, and chaotic issues with Hotels.com 30 minutes before our arrival. Maria stayed with me on the phone for over 15 minutes, ensured the reservation was completed and eased all of our minds. The seminar was a stellar success, because we were able to relax and know that Maria had taken care of everything for us!! Thank you Maria!!

Four Points Sheraton, you are lucky to have such a caring, thoughtful and positive minded employee!

As a traveler who was on the road for 8 hours, you crave for a relaxing and better sleep before hitting the road again.

Upon checking in, we were greeted by rude and unfriendly front desk personnel who did not even smile for once. Then when we got to our rooms, (we availed two rooms, one for me and my son, one for my brother, his wife and daughter), there were no shampoos, conditioners and soaps; we have to asked twice, first my son went personally to ask the front desk and was told they will be sending someone, 30-45 minutes passed and no one came so I had to call again, and we waited for more minutes when someone finally came. And when I went to shower, the drain was clogged, was basically showering with water up to my calves, same issue at my brother's bathroom.

Got up the following morning around 8 am to grab some complimentary coffee by the lobby, but the pot was empty so I informed a different front lady who has the same attitude just like the previous front desk lady. She said she needs to make another pot, but since we are checking out early we don't have time to wait so I asked if I could have one bottled water instead, but she said, since we are checking out that day, we are no longer entitled for a complimentary bottled water and she doesn't have one available for me to purchase.

This was not my first time to checked in at this hotel, and I have given it the benefit of the doubt that maybe my first stay (which was a little bit unpleasant as well but not as worse as this time) will not be the same, but I was so wrong and I regret coming back here, will never be coming back here and I will let my friends and family know. If I can give this hotel a negative review, I will. I was so disappointed.

Hotel average. Fine for a one night stay. Not happy with Lost & Found service. Fairly confident I left my Sony Headphones there on January 18th. Called a week later when got back from Mexico. Needed to call about 5x. Was transferred to Manager of Housekeeping (mostly with no answer and no voicemail), finally left a message with the front desk two times, and she finally got back to me to say my item was not found. I am pretty confident I can still picture in my mind where I had it plugged in on the wall beside the accent chair. I'm going to assume stolen.

Our family stayed a day on either end of a 7 day trip with parking.

Both times, the guest rooms had no hand soap provided in the bathroom.

If you use the toilet and want to wash your hands, you have to walk to the front desk and ASK for soap.

This hotel fails to meet standards that would be expected even in a third world country. Unbelievable.

It goes without saying that the many other reviews mentioning the run-down building, musty rooms, and pot-holed and overcrowded parking are all accurate.

10/5 I would like to take a moment to recognize Ingrid for her outstanding customer service. She was incredibly pleasant, helpful, and accommodating during my check-in process, making it smooth and effortless. Her warm and welcoming attitude made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. I truly appreciate her willingness to go above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable.
