What a peaceful and perfect spot for our two-day trip to the Birmingham area! I was looking for a quiet place to rest after having a local surgery, and this hotel was exactly what I needed.

Even though we arrived at 1 AM, the front desk agent welcomed us with a smile and was incredibly helpful. She made sure we had a quiet, clean room where I could truly relax—and I’m so grateful for that.

This place is truly a hidden gem! You’re tucked right in the middle of all the suburban essentials—restaurants, fast food, shops—you name it. Everything Birmingham has to offer is just a short drive away.

The service was outstanding, and the super comfy beds were just the cherry on top. Thank you for making our stay so restful and easy!

The checking staff what's friendly and the process was smooth. The room was cleanly, and I do not disturb sign was honored. As far as the little restaurant in the lobby goes. The experience was exceptional from the service to the kitchen staff. My late night snacks were friendly, fast and delicious!

Stayed a week here & decided to stay. Another was gone four days, and when I got back, the room hadn't been cleaned. Brought it to the attention of the front desk, and they told me the next day my room would be cleaned. Day five room still not refreshed or cleaned. The only thing front did was apologize and never offered me an explanation as to why or to change my room. I explained that I would be checking out moving somewhere else, and all she said was she understood. The hospitality that's supposed to come with this was not there. Not even a care or attempt to resolve something so simple. Besides the awful service, the rooms are nice, and the location is among many great places & restaurants.

A buddy and I had a really comfortable one-night stay here a couple of weeks ago. The staff was courteous and friendly, especially Jennifer at the front desk, who gave us good guidance on local restaurants, and Keesha, who very generously offered upgrades to our stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Cosmetically this has to be the worst Marriott affiliated hotel I have ever stayed at. It is dirty and not taken care of. They also charge $10 a person for breakfast for their “buffet” which was just an average continental breakfast which is always free at every other Marriott hotel and they also ran out of bacon at 8am. I will add a couple pictures from our room. I wish I would have taken more from around the hotel. The staff was nice and the location is decent when it comes to restaurants and stores.

Great rooms if you want something affordable and close to Samford. They rebranded and did a remodel and it looks much nicer than the pictures on google. Also hotel staff is some of the most genuine people.

Positive: I liked that the hotel was clean and quiet Negative: Yes upon arrival they informed me that the 1 bedroom suite I extra for wasn?t available but when I looked on the website it was definitely available and I was still charged for a suite but was placed in 2 queen bed room.

PLEASE DONT BOOK ANY RESERVATIONS HERE!!! SOME OF THE STAFF ARE THE MOST LAZIEST AND INCOMPETENT PEOPLE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED SMH. PLEASE PROTECT YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. PLEASE LOCK YOUR DEBIT OR CREDIT CARDS FOR CHARGES YOU DIDN'T AUTHORIZE. THE STAFF WILL GIVE OUT OTHER GUESTS INFORMATION WITHOUT CHECKING THE BILL. REPORT ANY SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY ON YOUR ACCOUNT!!! BRING YOUR OWN CLEANING SUPPLIES LIKE LYSOL AND BLEACH. THE ROOMS AREN'T BEING CLEANED EVERY DAY. WHICH MEANS YOU COULD BE BOOKING A ROOM THAT HASN'T BEEN CLEANED. REPORT THIS PLACE FOR ANY ISSUES. THE OVERNIGHT STAFF IS NEVER AT THE DESK AS WELL. YOU'LL BE YELLING FOR HELP AND NO ONE IS AT THE DESK. I'LL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!!
