Dr. Mendoza is a wonderful doctor. The ladies in the office are the best. I was previously treated at another clinic in Alabaster and it was horrible. I never got to see the Dr. only PA's and all they did was try to sell me expensive procedures that would not have helped. Dr. Mendoza spent a great deal of time with me discussing my treatment options and never tried to steer me in the wrong direction. He LISTENS. The treatment that I have received has given me my life back! He and his staff have changed my life for so much the better. I can't say it enough how blessed I've been to have found these wonderful caring professionals.

I have had only great experiences (from my first visit - one year ago) at Fountain of Youth Medical Spa.
The staff is very nice, friendly and knowledgeable. Entire service is outstanding and I am very satisfied. I never have a problem set up my appointment and I never wait.

Terrible customer service. Staff was rude beyond comprehension.
I had issues trying to make the appointment - left multiple messages without a return phone call. I finally got someone on the phone who was difficult to understand. She read off a list of products to avoid prior to the appointment and scheduled my appointment 1 week later. She did not explain that my first appointment would be a consult, so I assumed the appointment was for the IPL procedure. There was also confusion over the appointment time. I arrived when I thought the appointment was scheduled. The staff was very accusatory toward me but stated the nurse would still see me. Kathleen, the clinic manager/nurse was very unprofessional and hostile toward me. I expressed my frustration over the lack of customer service/poor communication, but the nurse basically accused me of being racist since I couldn't understand the receptionist?! Needless to day, I did not have the IPL procedure and I DO NOT intend to go back. The situation was quite crazy and something I have never experienced at any business, much less a "Dr.'s" office. I was so offended that I asked to speak with Dr. Mendoza, but the nurse told he was not in and shut the door in my face. I was the only customer there in the middle of the afternoon & now I know why. The whole experience felt very sketchy!
