Very awesome historic building in beautiful downtown Fort Payne, Alabama. If you are lucky you can catch a local play time to time in this venue.

I didn't get to see it. Even tho it was Saturday and they were supposed to be open it was locked..another shop owner actually called for and said give them a little bit more time they should be open..an hour later still locked..so I left..very disappointed .

The play we saw from Gadsden was Great on Saturday February 24th 2024 would recommend going there I know I will.... ample parking all around ?

Full of character and the oldest operating opera house in Alabama. Wonderful acoustics and a working vintage pipe organ. It's nestled by other historic buildings, museums, and venues, so it's a good central starting point on a visit to lovely Ft. Payne.
