This float was probably the most loving thing I ever did for myself. It was so nice to experience taking up a minuscule space of the universe and yet feeling so expansive at the same time! Next time I will book 2-3 sessions back to back!

Forest City Float is one of 815's greatest attributes. This is a place of deep cleansing, healing amd true inner growth. The sensory deprivation float tanks, infered saunas and Tibetan Singing Bowls are just to name a few beautiful features. This is a must see! 🙏

This is a unique experience that everyone should try. My daughter and I went for an hour of float time. We arrived and were welcomed kindly and shown the attached yoga studio as well. There are 2 rooms with float pods and showers and everything you need. You can have a little ambient lighting if you choose and also ear plugs and a head support if you choose. I chose nothing and darkness and I challenged myself with the sensory deprivation. It was good for me. The host was so kind and informative and the facility was very clean and comfortable. There are a lot of stairs to get to this unit, so be aware if you have mobility issues. It was definitely worth it.

My first experience floating was at Forrest City Floatand it was amazing! They were so welcoming and accommodating. Made sure we were both comfortable for our first Float. The only downfall was one of the pods had a broken light which got a little flickery in my Pod but he was very transparent about that fact and it was in the process of getting fixed. We have two more credits and will be back soon!

I’m so glad this place exists. Cozy and sweet studio space with a kind staff that explains things so well and answers all of your questions. Facilities are clean. Sometimes you get out of your session to the sounds of a yoga class in the adjoining yoga studio and it’s just so peaceful. This very much feels like a healing space.

It took me a long time to work up the nerve to try the float pod but I’m so glad that I did. It’s as relaxing, if not more so, than a good massage because your muscles and nervous system can just truly relax…and float! I felt so clearly just how much tension I had been holding!

The sauna is so nice and clean. There’s some cool mood lighting and you can connect your phone via Bluetooth. It’s very relaxing but also invigorating, and a great detox.

I expect both the float and the sauna to remain parts of my self care routine and I’m so glad that this great space exists to facilitate that!

This place is amazing. The operators are incredible people that although they run a business they are more concerned about your experience with them, providing you great service and your well-being! In my slowness I booked an appointment on the wrong day and not under a membership, they changed my appointment and credited me the balance difference! They did it with ease even though they were within their right to charge me the normal rate, charge me for the float and make more money. The studio is clean, the staff is wonderful and their service is impeccable. I will recommend this place to all my friends and even strangers if floating comes up 😆 If you're thinking of trying a float session...this is definitely the best in Northern Illinois and Wisconsin area. I'm so glad I found this place!
