My session with Ilana was comfortable and deeply supportive. This was my first experience with Aguahara or any type of water therapy. Ilana welcomed me into the experience with a clear and easeful orientation which supported our communication and trust-building for the session. As a modality of bodywork, this was so beautifully beyond anything else I've experienced. The warm water was soothing and Ilana's skill guided me towards my own natural rhythms. Ilana followed my lead while also providing physical support to bolster rest and gentle stretching. I'm grateful.

I had a very, very safe experience with Ilana. she listened to my history of trust issues (esp around physical touch) and proved her professionalism and wonderfully strong boundaries with me. aside from her energy, the experience of being in the water, of being moved in the water is practically indescribable. I recommend this form of therapy for anyone who has a tough time integrating their mind with their somatic body, for those who just need a break, and honestly, for those with the mother (parental) wound. I felt seen by her, and held by the water (and her very strong, solid, and capable arms).

I had never done or heard of an Aguahara treatment before, and I was gloriously surprised by the difference I felt in my body. I had recently had a grand mal seizure that was very traumatic and hard on my body. My body was holding a lot of pain, and after the treatment, I felt lighter and as if it opened up...my circulation improved, and I felt noticeably more pliable. It was so intense that I had to take a nap after and slept like baby. I felt like I was in a new body when I awoke and was so happy that the whole experience was NOT all a dream! Thank you, Ilana!!
