My husband, Tony, and I have been craving Alaska halibut since charter fishing there years ago. Nothing you buy in the Midwest compares (trust me, we've tried it all). So while we were recently on an Alaskan cruise, our cravings resurfaced. When we were in Ketchikan, we asked and someone mentioned Fish From Trish. We ordered via phone after returning home to Illinois. After ordering, she even reached out via phone with concern when the shipment had a transportation hiccup intransit. In the end we received the halibut intact and frozen; all was well! We made our first meal a couple days later. We will selfishly NOT be sharing this halibut with friends; it was fresh, dense, white, and flavorful! We will 100% be reordering when we are out given her superior product and care in making sure we received our product in a timely manner. PS... If you've never tried "pecan crusted halibut", Google it. It's an AMAZING recipe.! 🙂 Thank you, Trish!

I came to hopefully pickup some fresh local seafood. Waited outside for half an hour and no one showed up or answered their phones. Which was very frustrating and disappointing since I only had an hour between flights and hurried over on the ferry and then by taxi just to visit your shop. Looks like a great selection, and I would have loved to support a small business, but it really helps to be open during posted business hours.

Personally I thought fish would be cheaper the closer you get to the source It’s pricey but I haven’t bought fish around town enough to compare and get an average for this time of year. Wasn’t any other customers when I visited.

I can’t say enough good things about this awesome local business- I should have written a review long ago! We’ve trusted Trish for several years now to take my seafood lists, and loved one’s addresses, and just make it all happen. She strategically puts the boxes together for our friends and family all across the lower 48, mails everything out, and the boxes always arrive contents still frozen solid - even all the way to Ohio!!! They have fantastic fish at really good prices. I've bought from Trish every year we've been here visiting and never had a bad cut of fish. My favorite, and they are ard to come by, are the ends and pieces when they have them in stock. We make salmon patties out of them.
