I specifically ask for Kim as my nail technician. I adore her. She is experienced, quick, and skilled in her designs and art work. She always asks if I'm okay with what the costs are before she does things, not as a way to be rude but as a way to ensure I don't have any surprise costs I'm not ready to pay or approving. I like to pay cash and cash in tips as it helps the business not have higher fees. I feel they like to give me discount due to paying in cash but that could be my imagination.

I had my pink and white ombre fill about a week ago and am extremely hard on my nails as I do home construction as a profession. My nails almost always last unless I hit one with a hammer or something terrible work related. When that happens, I let it heal and then go back and Kim helps me the best she can to make the nail look good again. In my photo attached, the nail with the design is one I accidentally ripped off even my actual nail in my recent motorcycle accident and she did a great job helping it look fresh with what natural nail I had left for her to work with. She was gentle with it.

My guy went in and paid for my nails to be done (before I went there) and he didn't have the greatest experience with the man in the 1st seat. Just said he wasn't very welcoming to him as a customer who was dropping $200 cash at their business but otherwise said Kim was very nice to him. She even asks about him now when I go in. The only reason for one reduced star is because I too haven't had the best service from the 1st chair man. From my experience he was pretty rough, quick, and lacked attention to detail that feels important.

I had been going to this place for months and like the work that they do, specifically the owner in the first chair when you walk in, but everybody in the salon is very rude. I will be going elsewhere.

I get my lashes done by Kim… she does a great job and I think they’re better than ones I’ve had done at more expensive salons. Plus she’s so friendly and fast, too! I also get manicures and pedicures here… everyone does such a good job. They do great nail art. Kim has done several cute designs for me. Most recently I was heading to a 49er game and Kathy did a great design! I’d recommend this salon to anyone. The only thing I would change is that they don’t take appointments so you might have to wait, although they do have plenty of staff!

Awful!!!!!
I’ve never had such a terrible experience at a nail salon or encountered such rude technicians.
First, I called to make an appt and they said they don’t accept appointments and then hung up on me. Against my better judgement, I went ahead and drove over to do a walk in for my two daughters to get full sets. When we got there it was empty, just the 2 employees inside. They each took my girls and one started right away, the other said she would be right back. As she was coming out from the back room, three women walked in and she asked if she could help them. One wanted a wax and one wanted her nails done. She told the lady wanting her nails done to sit down and took the wax to the back and waxed her. When she came out she sat down with the other lady and started doing her nails…while my daughter sat there still waiting. I stood up and said excuse me, but my daughter was next. She told me that she would be quick with that lady and we can wait. I told her we were there first and already waited for the wax that came in AFTER us, but we would absolutely not be waiting for her to do nails too. Again, she told me to wait and she will do my daughters after she was done. I told the woman who was doing my other daughter’s nails that we were there first and this was unacceptable so we were going elsewhere, then I told my daughter to get up because we were leaving. She grabbed my daughter’s arm and yanked her back down and tried cutting off the tips that she just glued on. I then grabbed my daughter’s arm and told the lady not to touch her and that we would never be back to this salon again and we left. When we got into the car my daughter showed me her finger that she pulled and she had cut her when she tried removing her nail!
This salon should not even be in business!!! Do NOT go there!!

Service was poor. They do the work in a hurry and the owner is always in a bad mood. Subsequently, they request payment in cash and if you don't have it, they get upset.
I definitely won't come back.

Well my last time being a dedicated patron there. Dean and his family has left, and the new owners don't stand by their work. I say that because the last visit I had there I requested, as I have foe years, that they add diamonds 💎 to my big toes. Well the new owners response was that if they got messed up after install I would not be able to get them fixed there. It baffled me as to why she would say that to me, as if I would purposely mess them up and make them fix them. In all my years getting that style they have only messed up a few times. I always tip 10 bucks to get a pedicure. I do that because the work might be good, and if I ever messed up my toes accidentally I would be honored at the nail place to get them re done (the diamonds), free of charge. That's because the other owners knew what they were doing and stood behind their work. The new owners seem Judgmental towards me, and the young lady made faces at my feet. My feet are far from ugly. Anyways I give the new owners of First nails a #2. They lost a good customer.
