Our friends brought us to Fire on Fifth today. It was our first time here (visiting from East Proria). It was located right on the main road. There is an elevator to the left of the stairs once you walk in, so if you need to use that, it's available. We were seated right away and started off with the Wisconsin cheese curds as an appetizer. They were great, cubed, and crisp! Then we ordered a chicken bacon ranch to share. It was good but could have used a bit more ranch, I didn't really taste that much on there. It's a 12-inch pizza and it was enough to feed the both of us.
Loved the decor around the building and the history that was there! It was so cool to see the "old pictures" of what it used to be, from the bricks on the wall and the distillery! I love how there were notes placed around the building that explained or described a little piece of history. For example, the cheese curds were served in a paper boat on a piece of tissue paper that looks like a newspaper clipping from 1971. That was awesome!
I'm not a drinker, but the beer wall was so cool! I've never seen anything like that before. How many options they had was just insane and the fact that it's self- serve and you just pay by the ounce. Very cool feature!
We will be returning!

First timer, and they did not disappoint! Started with Grandma's Meatballs, absolutely what I needed in this cold weather. The Chicken Parm with side salad and house dressing was the main course. Everything about this dish was perfect! The bread was not hard, not too much vodka sauce, chicken was tender.
To finish, the Chai Martini and Grinchmas were a sweet holiday treat. Our server was great, too. Very friendly!

Get the cheese curds! They were absolutely divine. I loved the crunch created by the sharp corners, paired with the smooth melted interior.
Pizza was also good, but was a bit "juicy" for our liking. There was just slightly too much sauce, and a lot of cheese which made it kind of block out a few other flavors. I can definitely see how this might appeal to some, but I thought the creativity of the different pizzas deserved to be enjoyed by letting each ingredient shine.
The vibe here is really cool, the building had a lot of history. I was impressed by the bartender's knowledge of it as well.
There is a wall full of craft beers that you can self-pour with a crd that tracks how many ounces (you pay by ounce). That was kind of unique. There were some games in one corner, and they had a couple large private areas on each side for weddings or gatherings. Definitely worth stopping in and checking out!

To start off..... the place is spotless!!!
Staff was very very pleasant and happy to take care of us
Pizza ..A. came quick and B. It was soooooo damn good. Crunchy slightly toasted/ burnt crust with a chewy doughy center. Peperoni was cooked perfectly! Margherita pizza was simple yet flavorful. And those cheese curds with the marinara sauce were tender, Crunchy, crispy and oozing with cheese!
Beer selection was great! Bathrooms are spotless. The building is open and inviting with ample seating for all!

My mom ordered delivery through DoorDash and when we got the food it was cold. The pizza was wrong. Thr nachos were wrong. I called them to let them know that the only thing that was right were the nuggets or whatever they call them.

They said the ticket showed mushrooms on the entire pizza on their end. I said, that's not how it showed on our end and if that's the case why was the price different for the mushrooms than the olives? She couldn't answer that. Just wanted to blame it on us and Door Dash.

Wouldn't do anything for us said it had to be done through Door Dash. If they had normal delivery we would have ordered delivery through them, but they don't.

They wanted to take no accountability for their mistakes and wouldn't do anything to make it better.

My mom said they messed up the pizza she got with a friend last time, exactly same thing, but they didn't let them know.

If you want half a topping on a pizza or something left off of something I guess you better go somewhere else because they can't seem to handle it.

The crust tasted burnt, as well. Yuck! No thank you!!

Soggy nachos, burnt crust, wrong toppings. Thanks for ruining our dinner.

I was excited to try this place. Huge disappointment.

The pizza ingredients and pizza crust were amazing… but they skimped so hard on ingredients. I ordered a margarita pizza w shrimp. They were so stingy on the Mozz that pieces of the pie had zero cheese or other toppings. I got probably 2 shrimp chopped up for an extra $4. I’ve never seen less toppings on a pizza. Also, a few tid bits of finely sliced basil… For the price, they can afford to properly use toppings. It was all good food ingredients wise, but seriously skimpy. They did offer more basil and did comp the shrimp… but idk if I’d go back. I saw some other pizzas with tons of pepperoni/ toppings…

Amazing atmosphere and service! It’s a really cool venue with a lot of room versus the small bar/pubs in the area.

So… maybe just don’t order the margarita pizza.

We specifically went here, 40 miles from where my son's baseball game was. The food is that good.

We were here once before on a whim a year ago and had the 5th street fries and custom pizzas. So good.

Same results this time. The sidewinder fries on the 5th Street fries make it worth with the Italian ingredients. Wood fired pizza is thin and crispy. Create your own or order a specialty! Beer wall was top notch. Had the "Speckto Cooler."

We're already planning another opportunity to come back.

Took my family to this establishment for the first time today, and I have to say it was very nice. The atmosphere was very interesting given the historic nature of the building itself, being the former home of Westclox watch manufacturing. They have blended in a very nice wood fire pizza place alongside a brewery, turning out great whiskey. We enjoyed a couple of great appetizers. The two were the large Bavarian pretzel with beer cheese and homemade mustard, which was excellent. The second is the garlic parm pizza dough bites with a sweet and zesty marinara for dipping. Our family main course was the BBQ chicken pizza and the classic old world pizza. Both pizzas were on point with little flop in the crust. Great texture and topping for these two pizzas. I would highly recommend this place for anyone! The prices are very good for what you get, especially for a family of four. So please visit and enjoy the food and atmosphere alongside the long history of this building.
