A Night We’ll Never Forget – Thank You, Fire House Event Center!

From the moment we stepped into the Fire House Event Center, we knew we had found the perfect place for our wedding. The venue itself is absolutely stunning—especially when the big lights go down and the accent lights create the most magical atmosphere. But what truly made our night unforgettable was the incredible staff.

Every single person we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our day special. They took care of everything, allowing us to simply enjoy the moment and celebrate with our loved ones. It’s rare to find a team that goes above and beyond the way they did, and we are forever grateful.

Our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more, and we owe so much of that to this venue and the people who make it so special. We’re already recommending the Fire House Event Center to everyone we know, because we want others to experience the same joy, care, and beauty that we did.

Absolute awful management. Rhiannon will be sure to provide condescending remarks if you have any problems. Very Classy! (Eyes rolling in my head) not to mention if you have any questions they will never answer your phone calls. Awful communication!!! Awful feelings during my wedding and as the groom, I was doing 99% of the work. Had to go out our flowers in there beer keg room. Had to ask for them when I needed them. I basically just as given the key and told, “figure it out”! Run! Don’t get married here

If you’re looking for a venue that offers an outdated, convoluted audio system with zero support, this is the place for you! They provided speakers that were supposedly “easy to use” but conveniently forgot to mention that Bluetooth doesn’t work if the microphone is plugged in—meaning we had to awkwardly stand at the altar in silence when our final song wouldn’t play. And when we reached out about it? Their response basically boiled down to “Well, we let you use it for free, so deal with it.”

They also made it clear that they don’t handle guest music (which would have been fine if their system wasn’t a nightmare to operate), but when things inevitably went wrong, their staff was nowhere to be found. Instead, they later acted shocked that frustrated guests expected basic help.

Oh, and they ended their email to us with a passive-aggressive “99% of your guests loved the ceremony” as if that somehow made up for the fact that we, the couple getting married, were left standing there wondering what to do.

So if you want a venue that looks nice but comes with a side of technical difficulties, zero accountability, and a dismissive attitude when things go wrong, book here! Otherwise, find somewhere that actually knows how to support a wedding properly.

Awesome Christmas celebration 🎄🎀🎁This place is so beautiful. The details are gorgeous! The staff is amazing! The homage to the old Peoria Fire Sta #1 stole my heart as Im a PHX Fire brat!

NOT my top pick due to management.

No Contract. A contract is meant to disclose the terms of your agreement, define conditions and protect parties in the case of changes or terminations. No contract provided, just an invoice.

Discrimination based on event type. They only allow you to purchase additional set-up time if you are doing a wedding. This is very discriminatory and NOT industry standard. You get 1 HOUR to get all your vendors in and out, many vendors can’t work under this timeline. If they do, you will have lots of extra charges to account for this time constraint.

CONDUCTS SITE VISITS DURING SET-UP TIME. This bothered me the most. Management brought in a group of 6 people to conduct a site visit/ sales DURING my clients set-up window! This was not only hugely unprofessional but was a major disruption to our already limited set-up time.

The 2 stars is for the venue itself. I had a happy client who didn’t deal with any of this headache.

If you work with this venue, require a contract and hire a coordinator who will fight for you!

Venue was beautiful & my one star review goes the rustic look of the venue which is what I was going for. However the owner is the not best to work with. She is not professional, she did not work with me and the needs and views I had for my event. I paid for 3 hours and to be able to host 160 ( max guests which says on their website) and along the way I was only able to host 100 guests to due having to lose out on seating because the owner would not accommodate the arrangement I had asked for so I had to settle with what the owner had in mind for MY event in order for my guests to not be uncomfortable . I had to provide my own water & ice. I had to purchase my own table runners & tableware. The decor we requested to use that belonged to the venue was not fully provided. We were told we would have to set up and take down everything ourselves so not sure what the “attendant fee” was really for when her teammates stood behind the bar the entire time and while the owner walked back and forth watching my family and I. One of the baby shower games was to chug a bottle and as I was setting up the game the owner and her teammates saw what I was filling the bottles with and decided to wait and stop the game to tell us we could not play it. We did not let her stop us from enjoying our time so we simply switched out what was inside of the bottle but she could have mentioned prior to the game starting when she saw me filling the bottles. The time frame I was given to set up for my event did not go as planned she had another party going on at the same time I was told to go and set up super inconvenient for my event. I messaged the owner to let her know my family and I were waiting outside in the heat with the stuff we were providing and she did not respond to me. A family member had to go in and ask what what going on and we were told we had to wait and could not set up & this was already past 3:00pm. The party that was going on before mines was NOT rushed to clean up and leave not like how she rushed my family and l out. My event was scheduled until 7:30pm and by 6pm we were told start cleaning up and put our things away. We were rushed and watched the entire event which made things so uncomfortable. From the start the owner was unprofessional, did not communicate very well would change things around. Would not recommend if the color of your skin is anything other than white. As a pregnant women I shouldn’t have dealt with the stress and unpleasantness the owner caused. I am disappointed that my money went towards a venue with management like this one.
