I go to Ferns every morning. A great place to grab a cup of coffee on the run, or grab a bite to eat on the weekends. The owner, Rachel, is a lovely women and will make the first time customer feel like they have been there a thousand times before. Great place and a great addition to Sherman!

Love this place. Very cute vibe. Absolutely comfortable when you walk in. Tons of options and you can order specialty cakes/pies/etc if you like. They serve breakfast and lunch too! Soups, salads, sandwiches, nothing fancy but always good.

This small, off the beaten path of Historic Route 66 is a breathe of fresh air. The owner/operator/proprietor of Fern's is a spritely woman and deserves kudos for her down to earth charm! The food is absolutely spot on - at least for this foodie!! All of the attention to Country Cooking has already been added to each dish served. No need for added salt or pepper unless you're gunning for a heart attack! It is a delightful family place. They are closing in Sherman on October 20, 2018 and will be open that day, however, fear not, for they will re-open in larger digs in Williamsville, just up the highway, November 3, 2018. Look for them on the Square!! You won't be disappointed!!

This is my go to spot for small celebrations or a treat. Everything here is fresh, from the coffee to the baked goods. The building is often redolent of baking bread and bacon. The staff, especially Fern herself who is often manning the register & stovetop, ate friendly and open. A great place to stop & enjoy a morning coffee or lunch with friends. I could not recommend a restaurantmore highly.

What a delightful spot! Fabulous food, delicious coffee, friendly service. The shop has quiet corners for work or reading and a community table that is lively with conversation. I can’t wait to go back “home” and drop in again.

I love Ferns! Great food and many varieties of coffee with a fabulous Spiced Chai Tea Latte. The owner and workers are friendly. This is a quaint MUST visit stop in Sherman!

It's a really cute place , the staff was so nice , helpful , and accommodating ! The menu is just right , not too much , and not too little to choose from , I had the cup of French onion soup , oh it was delicious , and half chicken , apple, walnut , salad , with the raspberry vinaigrette dressing , and it was a lot of food . Definitely will go back .
