Ordered at the counter, got served at the table. Disposable plates and utensils.

We’re Texan, so our review may be tainted by regional preference. We ordered the Barbecue Sundae (B) and Barbecue Spaghetti (P). The sundae had a lot of too sweet BBQ sauce and beans for my taste. There were 3-4 slices of brisket and a smattering of finely chopped Cole slaw on top. I don’t know what “dust and drizzle” is supposed to be, but didn’t see any. Will not order again. The Spaghetti had a sweet-spicy sauce we liked better. Was steaming hot. OK, but we also won’t order it again either. We were provided a complimentary macaroni and cheese side. We liked this best. The liquidy cheese had a nice taste. Would order again.

Staff were nice and polite. Kudos for that. However the food was overall not our favorite style of barbecue.

Utterly lacking in all departments. Not good service, underdone cornbread, not cheesy mac and cheese dry chewy meat little better than room temperature. I've managed two different barbecue restaurants in my life. I'm disappointed and the owners in denial. The cornbread was undercooked, and the sides had as much personality as the service did. My entire meal was reheated in a microwave.

I ordered the pulled pork, the menu claims it was smoked for 14 hours but it tastes like it was smoked for 30 minutes max. It was also barely above room temperature, and was soggy. The Mac and cheese was a disappointment, I could tell just by looking at it that It was going to be. The cornbread should be renamed corncake, since it has the consistency of birthday cake. How this place has 4.5 stars is a mystery to me.

Was out this way doing a job and to be honest I’m a disappointed with the portion size I received I’m not from that area but I could’ve order something similar from home and got more meat than I got with fatback’s the meat had no seasoning until you added the bbq sauce the cornbread was like a slice of cake didn’t care for it the greens and potato salad was good overall I probably won’t come back to try anything else.

Negative comments here are fake This is very good restaurant lady on the front very kind and polite my son doesn’t eat pork he is allergic she go to the kitchen and tell everyone the order have no pork very much appreciate it pricing is very affordable food is really delicious I will be back again Thank you
