Everything was great. Greeted at check-in immediately. We arrived a bit before check-in, but were given a room, with no problems. The employee that checked us in was very attentive and answered various questions I had regarding places in the area and gave directions. Unfortunately, the employees were not wearing name tags, so I can't give a direct compliment on my review. ||The room was clean and everything in place and tv, etc worked fine. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Only downside was on Sunday morning, there was no hot water for the 2nd person taking a shower in our room. Brrrrrrr. ||We did not use the pool, so can't comment on that. There was no hot tub though, as indicated online. ||Breakfast was very good with many options and everything kept stocked.||The 2nd nite we were there, the weather was very stormy and many tornadoes in the area. We had to shelter in place in the pantry of the hotel. The manager (same one that checked us in the first day) kept us very well informed as to what was happening and where the severe weather was in relation to us. And .. it was right there! Thankfully, we didn't have any tornadoes hit the hotel, but did have severe rain, hail, winds, etc. There was significant damage very close to us.||There are restaurants nearby, as well as Cahokia Mounds and other attractions, including Route 66.||Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Rooms are clean. Carpet is older. Relatively quiet hotel.

I greatly appreciate a nice bathroom. The shower was hot and the water pressure was perfect. My husband and I could fit two people in the shower easily. 😉

The bed was very comfortable with the perfect combination of firm and soft.

The location is fantastic. Easy to find. A couple great food options near. I enjoyed the antipasto salad at Rosati's. St Louis is a short drive away.

I recently stayed at the Fairfield and it was a delightful experience overall!

The check-in process was seamless. The front desk staff greeted me with warm smiles and were very helpful in answering my questions about the hotel amenities and local attractions

My room was spacious, clean, and well-decorated, featuring a comfortable bed with plush pillows—perfect for a good night's sleep. I appreciated the little touches, like a mini-fridge and microwave, which made my stay even more convenient.

The hotel offered a nice fitness center that I took advantage of during my stay. There’s also a cozy lounge area where I enjoyed some quiet time with a book.

The location was ideal. I also appreciated the free parking, which is always a bonus.

Clean, quiet hotel away from the chaos in the city but a short commute to the city. The front desk staff is the best. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

The room was cool, clean, and comfortable. The AC kept the room plenty cool. Walls were a little thin; could hear the next door TV at times but it wasn't overbearing. There was a mini-fridge and a microwave in the room. There were outlets on the bedside lamp and on the wall next to the bed. The bathroom had a large walk-in shower (no tub) with an anti-slip floor. The shower had a modern glass door rather than a shower curtain. Water pressure was okay. The hotel had a small market and offered a nice complimentary breakfast. There was also complimentary parking. Front desk staff was efficient and pleasant. I would stay there again.

This hotel was good, but not great. They are actively going through renovations. The breakfast has several hot and cold items that are good. The gym has a decent weight rack and treadmill, but it's not well ventilated and cannot control temperature so it becomes hot easily. The hot tub and pool area have a sewage scent and hot tub couldn't achieve an appropriate temperature and jets wouldn't turn on. The area is safe and convenient.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights January 25th - 27th. It was very nice and luxurious. they have one of the best breakfast I ever had at a hotel. The rooms are very luxurious and the beds are very comfortable. The staff was excellent and very helpful kind and professional.||There's only one reason why they didn't give 5 stars is because the hot tub and pool was very disappointing. The top jets did not work, it was like setting in warm bath water. The pool was Ice Cold! Other than tat we had a great stay.

Excellent location for a stay. Food, fuel and snack within walking distance. Minutes from highway. Rooms are clean and nice. Definitely a return visit.
